The shipping was late but the cuttings arrived in good shape. I wet the paper towel they were wrapped in and let them set 3 more days. I mixed my coco coir material with perlite. After scraping a little bark off the base, I dipped them in cinnamon and planted them in the coco perlite mix in a12 ounce clear cup -‘d watered it well. I bought the rooting powder, shaved off the bark as in vmthe video dipped them in the powder. They all died... would not wasye my money. Bought two other trees (from someone else) already rooted both are doing great

I received 8 cuttings instead of 4, 4 of which have already rooted and started sprouting after just 2 weeks, so I call that a win. The others have started rooting, but have yet to sprout any new growth. That is expected, but even if only the 4 grow, that's better than I would have expected.

Both died. I used rooting hormone. New soil. Planted in sun. Wanted to exchange but the window was up by the time I knew these twigs would Not root. Bad choice.

    • Learning how to grow from cuttings
I just received my Stella Cherry cuttings that are unrooted as stated in the seller description. Came in protective box and with paper towel damp and in a zip lock baggie to keep it moist while traveling. Sense I could not get one rooted and grown tree I have to start from his point do to Agriculture regulations. Hoping for success. I did what a professor in Horticulture taught me and in some rooting hormone and aloe Vera leaf then into well draining soil sand, perlite, pumice, and cactus soil and dom it.
