  • Great tablet for young digital artists!
Size: 4GB + 64GB
My son has been working with Wacom-style drawing pads, and they'd been holding him back. I gave this tablet to him for his birthday, and he immediately fell in love with it! Even just in the few days since then, he's been enjoying a creative burst, making all sorts of drawings and animation reels. It comes preloaded with good programs, and it's an Android, so you have access to apps in the Google Play Store (as long as you have an account). The screen is native 1080p resolution - 1920 x 1080, and at this size, it looks terrific. The packaging is really attractive, and the box is packed with goodies. Besides the tablet itself, it includes a drawing glove (my son said it's as good as the good one he already owns), a very nice carrying case with the ability to convert into a stand and a slot for the pen, the USB-C power cable and charger (along with replacement plugs for other regions - very considerate!), and the pen itself - it feels solidly built, with a metal case, and has a nice weight. The pen uses AAAA batteries, and the package came with 2 of them. Remember when I said how my son was drawing on the tablet a lot over the last few days? He already ran one of the batteries which shipped with it dry, and is currently using the second battery. It is entirely possible that those batteries were weak or old, so don't take my single data point as gospel, but as I always encourage his artistic side, I bought an 8-pack of AAAA batteries from Amazon Basics, and as of today, they're less than $1 per battery. The tablet feels well-built, not cheap or plasticky at all. The buttons are red, and I appreciate how that makes them easy to find. Since I gave it to a 15 year-old, he really put it through its paces, and he says the performance was good - he didn't feel it was laggy at all. We were both a little disappointed by the lack of a headphone port on the tablet, especially since the diagram in the box does show one, but that's common for newer devices, so it isn't fair to call it a real problem. The things I mentioned are pretty minor quibbles, which is why they didn't cost it a star from me. It's a terrific tablet, and I do recommend it for artists looking for a reasonably priced tablet. ... show more

  • great product
Size: 4GB + 64GB
i was impressed how good this product is. i have a lot of current laptops, phones, and a couple tablets. i haven't bought an android tablet in several years, but this tablet does everything i wanted. it still gets 5 stars, but i want to say it's kind of heavy compared to other laptops, tablets, and devices. there is no way to make it stand on its own without buying other trinkets i think (what do you thinks this is, an apple product? (apple makes everything sold separately now lul)) holding the tablet is good, but there is less than an inch around the outside of the tablet. i also have some issues with the operating system, like there is no way to customize the icons on the desktop/homescreen. the screen is relatively dark with n o way to brighten it to 'really bright'. i'm stuck with 'mediocre bright' as the brightest. i can't fault the device for issues with the operating system really, but i hope they figure out how to make this device a little lighter, include some kind of 45 degree angle stand for artists, and tell android the icons are super small and the operating system in general is pretty uncustomizable. overall a good product though, i was impressed ... show more

  • Better than Average Quality
Size: 4GB + 64GB
I've been using the tablet for a few weeks now and have encountered minimal issues thus far. However, most of the issues I encountered had to do with Android apps and not the tablet itself, so I will disregard that for this review. The tablet came with a decent plastic case with an artificial leather cover and a battery-powered stylus. The case was actually a lot higher quality than I expected (not just some cheap plastic case) and feels like it won't break the moment I inevitably drop it by accident. With the tablet in the case, the buttons are very responsive, and the case doesn't interfere with the responsiveness of the power and volume buttons unlike some other cheap plastic cases I've used on other tablets. Setting up the tablet was pretty easy and I encountered no issues there. I found some settings to be a bit oddly placed or hard to find, but that is probably due to my lack of familiarity with Android. Occasionally some apps had minor latency and lag issues, but this seemed to be in-app issues rather than issues with the tablet itself. Considering that this tablet was a significant upgrade from my old tablet (some cheap generic Chinese tablet), it definitely lagged a lot less due to processing speed. The display feels high quality and is very similar to a monitor of similar size and resolution (although it's a tablet so there will be some minor differences). The touchscreen is very sensitive (responds to even very light taps) and writing/drawing with the stylus feels much like using a pen or pencil. Both the stylus and touchscreen were more responsive than I expected. TLDR: The tablet came with a surprisingly high quality case and stylus, the screen is highly sensitive, and I encountered no lag issues due to the tablet itself. Overall, I'd recommend this tablet for anyone who wants a decent quality drawing tablet but doesn't want to spend the money for a more premium option. ... show more
