I work on an ambulance and always was told to get a cardio V, but I didn't have the money to pay for it. I decided to get the classic 3 and it works amazing it's a little hard to hear when we are moving in the ambulance but other than that it works better than expected.

I originally purchased the Littmann Classic II as it was cheaper, until I realized I couldn’t hear very well on it when taking apical pulses and blood pressure. I exchanged that for this Classic III and now understand why it’s more expensive—the quality is far better. I recommend investing in this stethoscope for nursing students, especially those with limited hearing, as you can properly auscultate and get more accurate results. i’m very happy with this! not to mention the pearl pink is adorable 💘🩺 ... show more

I bought this stethoscope for home use mainly to evaluate the lungs. It gives clear readings that for me seem easy to interpret. I tried a cheaper drug store model that did not work (could not hear much), and it came without instructions. The Classic III is about $20 more than the Classic II, which I felt was worth it. Next levels are Classic IV cardiologist models, which to me and probably most nurses and technicians would not be required. The Classic III probably would be all they would need for diagnostic evaluations. ... show more
