The kit is fantastic. Don't listen to anyone who tells you there's some problem with the TN nut on the blue fiber disc. The nut is attached to the fiber disc. It might not look like it is actually a nut but it is in fact the nut. It screws right on to a 5/8 - 11 shaft. It is well worth the money and gives you a nice assortment of items to use. ... show more

Nice kit to try out 3m's grinding products. I run a small welding shop and have tried alot of different grinding wheels, cutting wheels, sanding wheels etc. I've always hated hard rock grinding wheels they have never cut fast enough and always caused alot of vibration and noise. But these 3m cubatron wheels are awesome very fast cutting fairly low noise and almost no harsh vibrations felt back in your hands. So far the longevity of the wheels also seems very good. The 3m scotch Brite wheel works amazing for rust and metal with light mill scale. The bending and finishing disc's work nicely. I haven't tried the cut off wheels yet but I'm sure they will work good. I think this is a pretty good value to try out some products that could save you time in the long run ... show more

By far the longest lasting and best disk I have used. the thick cutting/light grinding disk like to shred though. my only real issue is the flat 36 grit with the backer bad. it absolutely chews through steel but if you catch a sharp edge it will sling your grinder across the shop or worse. Yes. I was using a side handle it just goes so smooth I think it lulls you into relaxing your grip and then bam. but awesome set ... show more
