This product is a good value but I have used more effective microfiber cleaning detergents both before and after I bought this one. I didn't purchase it again, but that's not saying it wasn't effective as a microfiber cleaner, I just have used better ones. The consistency is "watery" but so are most of the other microfiber detergents so that doesn't mean anything about how effective of a cleaner it is. It was effective in getting my towels clean and if you are looking for a good value, you can't go wrong with this one. I have also used DYE FREE (Free & Clean) type detergents from the big box or grocery stores with just as much effectiveness so that too is an option for you and you can get that locally. I would use a good name brand if you went that route such as DREFT or TIDE or something similar. Don't cheap out if you go for the grocery store FREE & CLEAR stuff. Spring for the good stuff or you're just wasting your money. That cheap laundry soap does NOT work for cleaning microfiber cloths! The higher end stuff does work effectively. Just remember to use warm or hot water, but only dry your microfiber on the LOW setting or "AIR" dry ONLY!! Or simply hang them out on a cloths line or one of those inside drying racks and you'll be good to go. Rack or line drying is the absolute best way to dry them because you'll get pesky "lint" on your expensive towels otherwise. Trust me, I have ruined more than one towel by drying them! Now I only RACK or Line dry mine! If you follow those simple tips, your cloths will last for a long time and though many uses.

This microfiber detergent works incredibly well. It's shockingly much less expensive than some microfiber detergents, yet it cleans effectively and efficiently even in cool and cold water. It also rinses completely clean provided you follow the directions and don't over-dispense too much of this detergent at once. If you do happen to use too much, it'll create big suds in your HE washer. Fortunately, it will still rinse clean provided you run one or two additional rinse cycles depending on how much detergent you actually used. This detergent also works great on fine washables such a delicates, merino wool, and even large bed comforters. For large bed comforters, you will need to use double or triple the recommended detergent amount and perhaps rinse the comforter once or twice more after you finish washing it, depending on how well your comforter fits into your washer. In comparison to other microfiber detergents, such as Chemical Guys and more expensive brands, Towel Kleen cleans and rinses comparably well. And at its lower price, this one is a definite keeper. UPDATE October 9, 2016: After going through several gallons of this 3D microfiber detergent, I have yet to come up with a single complaint about this product. It was well worth its original purchase price on Amazon a year ago when it was 20% less than other microfiber detergents. However, that purchase price has significantly skyrocketed recently, which offsets the (former) attractiveness of this 3D microfiber detergent in comparison to other microfiber detergents, such as the Chemical Guys' microfiber detergent. Currently, the Chemical Guys' microfiber detergent is 10% - 15% less than this 3D detergent if you buy the Chemical Guy detergent as a "subscription" through Amazon. And while both detergents are comparable in their ability to clean, I give the Chemical Guys' microfiber detergent the slight edge over this 3D product for cleaning microfiber towels. I'm currently still using this 3D detergent for all of my light- and dark-colored colored laundry, including my microfiber towels. It smells good, works great and rinses clean; it's great for microfiber and all other colored laundry, including fine wool washables. Nevertheless, once I exhaust my current supply of this 3D product, I'll be switching over to the Chemical Guys' microfiber detergent instead.

It's eh. If you don't need to clean super dirty towels I imagine its amazing. However it doesn't unclog towels that i used with sealants. The price here is also like 10 bucks more than detail shops. I would spend the the extra like 15 bucks to get rags to riches or detail co. renaissance on the house of rags website. If you're just an enthusiast, its probably good enough.

I have purchased a gallon of 3D Towel Clean ... Micreofiber ... AND a gallon of Chemical Guys CWS ... Microfiber wash. This review will appear for both products as the compare review continues. 5 stars to start both came at the same time, in the same box, in good order. I detail boats and cars, sort my microfiber towels by their use and color. From here, 1/2 will be pre-soaked. After that they will be each 1/2 will be split again and washed in one or the other produects. Here we go:
