- Recommend Settings- Ultimately, it is recommended to test a print temperature tower to demonstrate printing at each temperature range. We recommend printing at a Nozzle/Extrusion temperature of 200C - 205C and Bed/Platform temperature of 0C - 60C (0F - 140F) when using a dryer box to keep the filament's humidity at about 25 degrees. The surface of the model will be very smooth and shiny with no stringing. However, if the 3d printer filament is not dry enough, we recommend printing at a Nozzle/Extrusion temperature of 190C - 195C and Bed/Platform temperature of 0C - 60C (0F - 140F).

I don't normally buy silk filament, but this was discounted to the point I'd give it a try. This stuff printed great!. A few issues when I printed on my K1 Max, but that was due to an environmental issue (power brownout due to circuit load, not the filaments fault). The colorshift looks cool when rotating the final pieces, and you can control that somewhat by rotating the print in the slicer. No clogs or jams when I used it, and I would probably get this brand again (if the price were to drop. I just can't justify spending a lot on filament like this). The printed pieces look so good, there's no need to paint them.

For me, this works just fine using the same tuning settings for Creality filoment. 20/g is a very small roll. My prints were just fine. Quality is goid. However, this stuff is about 50% more than most of the other filoments I use. Although I like it, this is my last order at this price point. Found another seller with good silk filoment for $16.99 for 1000g.

I am new to the 3D print world...like, a couple of weeks new. Thought id try my hand at articulated/ movable models. While I missed how small these rolls of filament are, they make some pretty cool figures. I followed the settings on the roll, and the results...ok not professional or mass produced quality, but works very well for me...beginner level. ..Elegoo Neptune 4 pro ..follow the print speeds, i used 45mm sec ..the raccoons I used 90% infill, line ..the elephant I used 50% infill, cross ..both models on hardened steel nozzles, upping the temp to 225c ..practice print, then printed each one. ..clean print bed before each print, and used Elegoo print bed glue, seems to help when using their PEI sheet Filament worked very well, and adds a pretty cool effect.

The first time I used it it completely clogged my hot end. Cleaned everything up and it printed a few pieces and just quit printing mid print. Took everything apart thinking it was clogged and it wasn’t. There was a weird place in the filament . Tried again and again it failed. So far from 3 of the spools I’ve only had one successful print and it was a small one. We have kept everything sealed and dry.. temp on printer and bed are perfect… I can only come to the conclusion that the filament is bad
