I used this product on a pair of black heels. It made a huge difference. After applying the sole protectors to one shoe, I placed both shoes (of the pair) on a tile counter top and gave both shoes a gentle push with my finger. The shoe without the protector slid easily on the tile, but the shoe with the protector did not budge. I was impressed. So I applied the protector to the other shoe and tried walking on slick tile. The protectors really helped the shoes from slipping on the tile. I'm not sure how long they will last, but I don't wear heals very often, so I'm sure they will work fine for me for a time. I found that if you cut the product to fit the bottom of the shoe perfectly, it will show when you're wearing the shoes, and it won't look great. I would suggest cutting the product a good 1/2 inch or so smaller than the actual sole of the shoe. That way it won't show, but it still works fine. Also, be sure to apply the product to the heel of the shoe, and not just the toe area. That way you won't slip or slide when walking. ... show more

This did not work for me. I am not sure if I was missing directions, but I tried using this on some heels to make them look like real red bottoms 👠 and it was a comical failure. I think if I had more material to work with, I might have figured out how to get a more precise cut. Dont let my (in)experience discourage you from trying this though; it does stick well! ... show more
