When you remove the NEST unit, Check the wiring diagram. Be sure all 5 wires are placed correctly and are stable in their connector. With the super small connector it is Very easy to break the pins with the connector, be careful.

Nearly impossible to change the nest battery without breaking the three prongs. Was later told by my AC guy that he’s never heard of anyone changing the nest battery and that is is completely unnecessary. He also told me this battery is only about 60-70% the strength of a real nest battery. Don’t buy. And when you need to return the battery you will have to pay for shipping costs.
