We bought this chandelier for our living room which has 11 foot ceilings. It came ASSEMBLED! All of the arms were put together, only thing we had to do was attach the rod for it to hang down. The rods come in several sizes so you can adjust how low it is in your room. It is quite wide, which we like, but be mindful of this when you order. The color is a nice brushed gold so not shiny brass, it looks great in my opinion. My husband is not an electrician and he got this hung in about 10 minutes so I would say the instructions were clear enough and overall this was easy to use. For the money, it is an impressive piece! Will definitely buy for future rentals! ... show more

Good price, good design. Decided to give it a try. Upon opening, the light is folded up mostly assembled. Some of the arms were loose and others were very tight without any way of adjusting. You also need to choose a hanging height and then string the excess wiring through. -1 star I ran into an issue with the mounting plate holes not lining up to my standard ceiling lamp box. They tried to cut as many slots to make this universal, but because of that, it made it harder to just drill the right hole. I ended up having to dremel a slot out of it and add a strong washer. -1 star. The rest of the installation was standard. Overall nice looking lamp. Took a very handy person 1 hour. E12 LED bulbs are not included and can add to the cost. Like 3-5 dollars a bulb. ... show more
