These are good and do the job, but the original remotes have a little better range. But these work just fine with distance I need. I had to replace a remote that was lost, so I gave the original to my wife and I took this one. They work fine when I can see the garage door, but I had gotten used to hitting the button in the alley, just before I see the garage door. This one is a little less powerful. After ordering and returning the "Johnny Fit All" remotes that claim to work with Liftmaster, Craftsman, and others, with all the colors of wires, but did not work, I ordered these. These actually work. If you have the Liftmaster with the purple antenna wire, get these.

These remotes have no range. Tried them both (I bought two) and even with fresh batteries I needed to be INSIDE the garage for them to operate the opener. (The garage is typical residential timber frame construction with vinyl siding). The other OEM remote that came with the unit operates correctly with good range.
