They work great and the whole color change from soft white to bright white is very effective. These lights are great, they look good even though there is not much to them and they are quite bright. Picked these up to replace a couple of older style lights with one being in the kitchen, and because they matched the style of my overhead kitchen LED panel light. Love the style of these and that there are selectable light temperatures with the LED panel. Super easy to unscrew the three decorative caps to clean the lens or change the light temperature. What was not so easy was the installation and the only reason for four stars. Not sure why there are notched screw mount holes here as you cannot place the mounting screws and slide the light over the screw heads. The included screws are too large for those notched holes. Now you need to be directly under the light to match up the holes with your junction box. This will be pretty easy for my hallway light but was a total pain for the light over the kitchen sink as I did not have that view. Also, the 12-inch mounting plate makes it difficult to get your wires back in the junction box. It's all doable, but took three times the amount of time I figured for the install. These are super bright, and I would agree with the 300W equivalent light output. I am probably going to need a dimmer on here. We always used our over sink light as a bright night light at 60W, but the kitchen is flooded with light now...not a bad thing. Overall, I definitely recommend for the finished result. The install could've been a lot easier with those notched screws holes allowing you to slide the light over the already started screws. ... show more
