These are hands down the best tortellini I’ve ever had from a grocery store and I will keep them on a weekly rotation at our house. They work great in chicken tortellini soup because they don’t contain nutmeg. Last time we ate all the tortellini out of the pot but I just took the pot of soup back to the kitchen and boiled more tortellini in it- was done in 5 minutes so we could continue feasting. These tasted great and were quite filling. They were a good size and hearty mouthfeel. I added them to a broccoli cheddar slow cooker recipe and everyone liked it. Would purchase again.

As much as the kitchen is My Happy Place for whipping up something yummy for my family for dinner, there are those days when that just ain’t happenin’. For those times, these luscious little cheese tortellinis are just the perfect answer. I’ve topped them with everything from leftover (homemade) spaghetti sauce, to pesto, and even sautéed garlic in butter, topped with some grated parm. They are the lowest sodium I have found that is fantastic. The low sodium also makes some kind of bland. I find the texture to be a little gummy. I’d be willing to eat them again. I will not buy them again.

from reviews it seems these tortellini change in quality overtime. I bought mine in central jersey in late 2022 and they came out astoundingly well. butter, spinahce, salt pepper and parmesan made them a great cheap lunch for four at about $10 conservatively. for $0.30/oz these are an incredible deal. for frozen tortellini they are incredibly well preserved. not one piece was broken or unsealed in my bag. the filling is smooth and creamy but also toothsome. the pasta came out PERFECTLY as though these were expertly cooked fresh tortellini. I cooked in salted water at an intense boil until they floated to the top, then drained. with butter and spinach wilted in the pot they were cooked in it took about 15 minutes to make a very satisfying dish. these will be a regular purchase for me from now on. ... show more

These are just as good as any of the gourmet ones for sale in the deli section, but much less expensive. Also, they don't take any longer to cook - I boil them for 4-5 minutes from frozen, and they are perfectly al dente. This package makes four meal-sized servings for us.
