I got this to replace semolina pasta in my diet due to carbs in the semolina that I was eating too much of. This tastes ok, good enough to make a regular part of my diet. I do prefer semolina, but the dietary benefit more than outweighs this preference. Its being pasta, you can do anything with it, add anything, etc. It takes 4-5 minutes to cook which is acceptable. I'm glad it's available so I can continue to have pasta in my diet in a harmless, even beneficial dietary way.

These noodles are quite healthy and mealy, but they taste weird on their own. We had to flavor them up quite a bit using a ton of sauce.

Texture - I’ll start of with the texture which is the most important to me. This pasta has an al dente texture that is a little chewier than your normal pasta, which I really enjoy. Most pasta alternatives I’ve tried are mushy and very difficult to work with. This pasta holds it’s texture very well and I added it to my weekly meal prep. It can definitely be stored and reheated. Nutrition - Haven’t found any pasta with as much protein as this one, 25-44g of protein depending on your serving size. It’s also only 9g of net carbs which I haven’t found in any other pasta as well (I don’t consider miracle noodles or spiraled noodle as pasta). Cooking - These took a little longer to cook than what the box said. I cooked them for about 7 minutes and then rinsed it with cold water. I think the cook time really depends on how you like your pasta. What I really like is that I can cook as much as I want at once and then save it for the whole week. Conclusion - Definitely worth trying and I’ll be reordering soon!

We tried this Bean-based pasta. It cooks well, has all the properties familiar to regular spaghetti but fewer carbs, more fiber and higher protein. The label, though, calls the beans “black soy beans,” which I never heard of before. But if you are soy-sensitive or have issues with estrogen, limit your consumption. Otherwise, this is a great tasting pasta alternative.

I am someone who is VERY picky about the texture of my food. Even with something I typically enjoy, if the texture is off it will nauseate me to the point of not eating it. That being said, these noodles had a horrible texture to me. Very rubbery and chewy. Looked like a pot of boiling worms and just touching them with my fingers was too much. I tried one noodle and the taste wasn't awful but the whole time I chewed it all I could think about was worms. There was also a light odor when opening the package it comes in. That was the first thing that put me off but I gave it a go anyway and I'm sad to say this product is not for me. But I'm sure it would be great for someone else so don't let my review sway you from purchasing if you really want to try it!

Whether I just didn't see the finer print, or what, I ordered these. I don't eat this food. Wrote a review saying as much. The company reached out to me, made me whole. Even considering... that I hadn't dug deeply enough? Regardless. They took care of my issue. I can't knock a company that stands up, takes care of an issue. I will consider other products they make. Though... I will scour more deeply, read more fully.

I really like black beans so I decided to try it. It cooks very fast, so that’s the pro. The cons: doesn’t hold the sauce, texture is off (too textured maybe), very little flavor, got tired of eating it very quickly, not filling.
