I was looking for something sleek, modern, that would match my curtain rod, and had at least on usb port. TThe added bonus to this is that it also has an plug like the kind in a wall. Perfect for night stands. I have them in the guest room. The "on-off" switch is at the bottom which makes it so easy to operate if a person is laying in bed. The switch is also a dimmer switch. Looked at other lamps, but ended up waiting for these to come back in stock. Best option out there for us. The lamps have a clean, modern look, a dimmer knob right on the lamp (cord dimmers are annoying), a standard USB charge port, AND a power plug. Worked great with Amazon's dimmable LED bulbs.
