It makes nice curls with ease. The reason for four stars is I think there is a design flaw. It is easy to hit the temp controller button when rotating the curler because it is right where you hold it with your hand. Maybe it's me. I am always hitting the button increasing the temp. I am careful to always check the temp to readjust it.

I was so excited to find this and receive it! After some issues with shipping, it finally arrived and I tried it right away. I was super disappointed, this styler does not curl hair well. It pulled out my hair while trying to either straighten or curl. The cooling fan doesn't work very well either. Maybe it would work better for someone with shorter hair, my hair is mid back length. It really doesn't work for me. I will be returning this.

It gets nice and hot, but difficult to keep it hot because the buttons are on the handle. Having to constantly push the temp. button due to accidental pushes.

I purchased this hair straightener when my other one broke. I typically use a standard straightener to curl my hair because my hair is thick. This product has worked much better than a typical straightener. I have to admit that I was a bit of a skeptic when I first purchased a straightener now I firmly believe that the cool air coming out of the exterior vents does help set the curls better I really enjoyed the results. The only downside is that I didn’t realize you can’t grip the plates closed like a typical straightener, and sometimes that has been challenging for me because I have thick. I’m really hair and sometimes I need that feature. However, it’s been very easy to work around that. I’ve considered recommending this product to friends.
