I had a dual-use idea in mind before purchasing these: primary use was to prevent birds from nesting/landing at the top of the pillars to my porch and in several sections under my deck, and secondarily to see whether I could use these to prevent my ferret from using the corner of her cage as the latrine instead of her litter box. They worked great in both scenarios, but I did have to replace it for the ferret cage when her sister started chewing on them. For the ferret cage, I simply cut a 3x4 section of the strip, punched two holes in it, and zip-tied it to the corner of the cage. She kept trying to back up to it, but it was enough poke to make her give up...and move 5 inches to the left where these weren't, and pooped there. So, that area got a 3x3 section, and that finally got her to give up that part of the cage and properly go down a level to where the litter box was and go there. Good thing, too, because her sister thought they were great to chew on, so I had to eventually remove them, but the lesson was taught. For the columns on my front porch and portions under my rear deck, birds were hanging out there and pooping really difficult to remove droppings on the concrete (porch) and pavers (under the deck) and honestly I was tired of trying to clean it up constantly (they were doing it at night after all the human activity was done for the day). I cut to size and popped the necessary spikes up there with the adhesive tabs and so far so good. There are A LOT of these strip spikes in the box. I'll probably give some to friends and neighbors if I hear they're having similar issues. Great grab, great value, and work as described!

After recently finishing construction on our new home, we were excited to begin moving in. However, we quickly realized we weren’t the only ones eyeing the new space—local birds had also taken a liking to the trim around our exterior doors. Within a short time, they started making quite a mess, and we knew we needed a solution before it became a bigger problem. We decided to try the BUZZLETT 36 Pack Extended Clear PVC Bird Spikes, and so far, they’ve exceeded our expectations. The installation process was quick and very straightforward. The strips are flexible and easy to work with, and the clear design helps them blend into the trim without being too visually noticeable. I did need to trim the sides of the spike strips to ensure a snug fit around some tight areas, but that was simple to do with a pair of scissors. The product is designed in a way that makes small adjustments easy and stress-free. The sticky strips that came with the spikes worked surprisingly well—they’ve held up nicely, even through some varying weather conditions over the past day. The most important part? Since installing the bird spikes just yesterday, we haven’t seen a single bird attempt to land or roost in the treated areas. It’s been a night-and-day difference. I’m hopeful that the deterrent continues to work long-term, but based on our initial results, I’m very impressed. If you’re dealing with unwanted birds around your home or trying to prevent them from nesting in high ledges, trims, or ledges, I’d definitely recommend giving these BUZZLETT bird spikes a try. They’re affordable, simple to install, and most importantly, they work.

I didn't realize when I ordered these how much you get - it's a whole big box full. The fact that they're clear is what was important to me, because I needed to put them on topo of dusk to sawn light fixtures, where the sensor is on top, to keep birds from building nests there. These did the trick and did not cause any issues with the lights. They're easy enough to cut into the lengths you need, and flexible enough to be used on curved surfaces if needed. However, the adhesive squares they come with are really hard to use because it's almost impossible to peel the plastic coverings off of them. I spent ages picking at them with my fingernails to get a hold of them. Other than that, they're great. Since they're plastic, I'm assuming I'll have to replace them periodically, but since you get so many, that's fine.

We have chickens that love to roost on things they should not be roosting on such as the chicken waterers or the top of their nesting boxes. We had been looking for bird spikes but did not want those metal ones that look like they could hurt the chickens feet. Decided to try these and glad we did. They work great and are not heavy or bulky. These come with quite a few pieces in the box and look like they will last a long time. Also comes with adhesive to apply them to surfaces. They are made of plastic but are still very sturdy. They are also bendable so can conform to fit different types of surfaces. They look like they would survive many different elements including rain and sun. The base is also easy to cut to preferred size.

Much better than I expected! I'm very pleased. Yes, they are clear plastic, but they are much stronger than ordinary water-bottle plastic. I feared the worst, but I'm relieved to report that they have some heft and sturdiness to them. Obviously, they won't last as long as metal bird-spikes... but, there they look decent from a distance. And they are easy to bend into gentle curves as needed. The "nano-tape" strips are included and it holds well to clean and dust-free surfaces. (I was able to get the nano-tape to stick to a concrete & brick ledge.) They are lightweight and easy to cut to a specified length if needed. (I used garden pruning shears, but I imagine that kitchen shears would work fine too.)

I have issues with cats using my garden boxes as litter boxes. These have solved my problem. Simply bury a little under the soil and no more issues.
