I was looking for a film so I could keep my blinds open during the day and not have to worry about people seeing into our whole apartment. I have big windows here and this was the only seller I could find that had the correct width and length. Installation was not too bad, just use LOTS of water when you place it on. It prevents air bubbles and lets you slide around just enough to make small adjustments. If you get air bubbles, it’s almost impossible to get them out. We had to start over on our first attempt because of it. Overall a great purchase. We’ve had nosey neighbors and birds come pretty close and try to see in, but they can’t! The mirror effect does switch at night when more light is inside than out, but we just close the blinds. Would recommend!

Was quoted $900 to tint 10 windows in my house. Figured $60 for 26 feet was worth me trying myself and would allow me to make some mistakes. And while I did have to redo one window I still have leftover material and 10 pretty nicely tinted windows. Definitely found that having a second person to help hold the tint or respray the window/film while positioning makes a huge difference in getting the film up. It’s very sticky, especially if it folds over on itself, but I’d give it a 6/10 on difficulty to install as long as you have patience. No more glare on my tv, no more people looking in my windows as they walk by my corner lot house, definitely keeps my rooms cooler from the direct sunlight that was heating it up. Super impressed with the quality and function of this “bargain” tint.

My complaint is regarding the view outside AT NIGHT. Installation was time consuming but understandably, due to the bubbles imo, during the day works great that's why the 3 stars. I can feel confident that no one can see in, while im definitely able to still see outside, as you can see in the photo. However at night the mirror effect almost turns inwards and I see the reflection of my self and the inside of my home than im able to see outside, so I feel blind sided, while the outside has a great view of the inside of my home lol. (I wouldn't mind that if I could at least also be able to see outside my self.) any way-going to have to look for another solution

The film is thick, very dark, darker than expected but it’s amazing if you need to block heat or want privacy. From the outside at night it is difficult to see in unless a lot of light is in near the window. During the day the windows are black from the outside. I had to put my face in the window to see the outline of my frame. It is a little warped in places and learning the produce takes practice and patience. Due to the price I felt comfortable buying and learning with it. My mistakes will be acceptable to me until the 100’s have passed then I’ll do it cleaner.

Used this for our class A RV while in Arizona for the winter and it reduces the heat immensely - takes a bit of practice to get good at installing but not that hard to use once you get the knack - be sure to buy a good installation kit with it as it makes it easier and less frustrating but absolutely love what this product does!

I was in the venture of tinting my doors and window. So I decided to originally buy the BLACK SILVER of this same brand and from this same seller. The black silver was beautiful. It gave enought coverage. The material was thin and sticky, so you really have to be careful and patient to work with that kind of material. However, my only problem with it was it was too dark in the afternoon, and at night time. It really darkened the rooms too much to my liking. So, I decided to go with one shade brighter. After doing my research I came the conclusion that this specific brand and seller offered 3 levels of the SILVER color: - Black Silver (DARK) - Regular Silver (MEDIUM) - Clear (LIGHT) Based on this, I assumed regular SILVER would be okay. Right after opening it, I noticed the material was different. It was much thicker than the black silver. It was sort of thick PVC plastic tint. I also noticed it really didn't offer any coverage in the tint color. Lastly, after applying it to the window, it made the view look blurry from inside of the house. The photos here are of the SILVER option. I ended up returning it. And bought the CLEAR. It turns out that the CLEAR was the same material type as the BLACK SILVER but a shade lighter, which is the option I will be keeping. The clear is beautiful. Enough blockage with just the right amount of light coming in, and enought night time visibility. My only problem with the clear is that they only make it in 30" width rolls. Wish they offered it in 36" width. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SILVER 36" INCHES WIDE X 50' FT ROLL.

This was a little tricky to install, but some decent youtube searching gave me a decent idea how to do it. It turned out pretty good. I have had them for a week and it prevents so much heat from entering my house. The single pane nightmare is over! It is also really nice to have the privacy tint. It looks really good. A minor note the tint kind of darkens the house with natural light, but that is what you trade. House still gets plenty of light. Overall I have zero complaints about it. Make sure you buy an extra roll and watch a few YouTube videos. Good luck.
