Okay so I just got this thing. And I assembled it and it was pretty easy to assemble. If you've got a drill with some drill bits, you put the thing together in about a half an hour. It's pretty easy. It's pretty sturdy. It's actually made out of a fairly heavy gauge metal, which means that it's not going to rot out within one season. If you try and take care of it. Anyone who's used? I don't fire pit before. Knows that the grates on the outside of the fire basically useless and just decorative the thing that flips over the fire and you can cook on. Good luck with that. I've never done it but it's there and it will work for the money. It's money well spent

Works for us... not grilled on it yet, but it works well as a basic wood burning fire pit, which also looks nice on the patio!! Like the cover for it also, ashes don't get wet and soggy...easier to dispose of.

I purchased 3 other FirePits before keeping this one. I I first purchased a smokeless BBQ. I purchased the smaller less expensive fire pit, I found that a log could not lay in the pit due to the size of the log. I then went ahead and purchased the bigger more expensive smokeless Firepit, I liked it but had 2 drawbacks. 1. Due to the amount of airflow in the pit, a log burned hotter and a lot quicker then a traditional fire pit, which means you will be using the logs a lot more quickly. 2. The design of the firepit, encourages the smoke to go up straight and to not affect the people around the firepit. On a windy day, the smoke will be blown around which will affect the people that are sitting around the firepit. I also like the addition of the raised grill, being able to BBQ at the same time. This is a very good quality and not overly expensive firepit. I do not regret getting this one.
