They worked great for what I needed. It's hard to find these any longer than 18" at local stores. I put them on a 4 foot gate that I wanted to be able to reach from both sides. The 18" ones would've been too short for that. They are sturdy and good quality. Would have been 5 🌟 if they had the screws!

Decent value. Screws maybe not be right for your application. Self drillers came with it, imho, they are best for metal. So be ready to sub in your own screws. They offer several different lengths, for my application to hold close or open (through the rod into the ground), the 2ft length was best for my one shed. The 3ft length worked best on my other shed. So check whats best for your applications

Typically I buy more economical items such as a shorter gate drop rod that doesn’t have the small attachment on the top to hold it up. The 36” option is easy to reach and the small attachment at the top that holds it up when you open the gate is great.
