Measurements were perfect for my application. Needed something shallow which would fit in a broken gas fireplace ($1200 to repair). Had to build a basic mounting support. Total cost of the project including fireplace =$200. Nothing fancy but does add a lot of ambiance to the living area. The heat will work for a 20 x 20 ft room if it's above freezing outside. It'll struggle if it's colder. I think it's a good buy. And just 2 trips to the hardware store for mounting and facade materials.

The thing never worked correctly out of the box, so had to repackage & send it back. The flames worked; the heat worked. There was one huge problem, however. The thermostat/heat setting didn't work on either the remote or the front panel, so the thing would have been on constantly at the highest temperature. Talk about a fire hazard. I will say the refund was handled easily and quickly; no problems. I was worried that there might be a hassle, but there wasn't.

The heat output is great for my master bedroom. The fan when set on high is a little loud but nothing unbearable, it’s almost like white noise. Great value for what you get. I only give 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) I wish you could change the color of the crystals separate from the flame 2) fan noise could be annoying for sensitive sleepers . Besides that great! Note: I took out the provided logs and put the old conjoined logs on the mantle as decor. I ordered individual logs on Amazon and placed them on top of the crystals provided with the fireplace to elevate the look.

I got this to replace the old fireplace that went out on my RV. If was the only one that had similar dimensions, and after removing the little plastic feet it came with, it fits like a glove. This fireplace is half the price of the replacement the repair guy was recommending, puts out more heat than the old one, and has more useful functions than the old one. It also looks pretty cool, and realistic. Of course a $600 fireplace is going to look even more realistic and probably have more features, but this was only $250 and I'm extremely pleased with it and it's functionality for the price. It warmed up my entire RV pretty quickly (35ft and fireplace is at one end), and that's what matters most to me. I highly recommend it.

I installed it into a real wood hutch bottom, added trim & real bricks . Mortared them in. It works great. Yes it does have a fan noise, but not that bad. Like a ceiling fan. Heats my living room real well!! I get lots of compliments on it. I love the effect of the flames. Close to looking like real ones. Do wish the manufacturer would add a brick background behind the flames. It would make it even better. It was worth the money & the time I spent on a Saturday afternoon.

I love this unit! Easy to arrange your rock and or wood. The lighting color, flame speed, temperature are great features. The glow and warmth is just what I wanted! It’s quiet, has two handles for moving or inserting. This is my 3rd electric fireplace and is the best one yet!
