    • Needs some better engineering.
The condenser is good. I reviewing the air handler mostly. The designers need to rethink this thing on two fronts. First is mounting surface for the return boot and the plenum. There's really not enough surface area to attach duct work. Maybe 3/8" face on the end of the unit. There's a 10x18 opening for supply air. Try finding a 10x18 ,6 connection wedge plenum without custom fabrication. My greatest concern is the thermostat connection. No one, and I mean no one in this business ties T stat connections together outside of the unit. That's just asking for it. The wires are through the side of the unit hanging in the wind exactly where the plenum has to mount. They won't be when Im finished. Adding a terminal block inside the unit to tie everything in. Im sure the unit is going to serve the purpose . Also! Make sure you are an HVAC technician with an EPA card. And unless you reuse your existing line set, make sure you order a new one. This unit doesn't come with one and the Olmo line set is ridiculously priced. More after the installation is completed and it's up and running. ... show more
