First, this is the third Hiseeu system i've installed, and the first that isn't 4K. The image quality is outstanding. Setup is a breeze, and the new menus are much more user friendly. Only the PTZ cameras have audio, but it is incredibly good! All use BNC cables, which are included. I think four were 60ish feet, four were longer. I purchased the 4 bullet/4 PTZ camera system to cover a 9,000 sq/ft warehouse. I haven't even installed three of the bullets, because the ptz cameras are so good. We got this for our 6,000 sq foot building's perimeter. I didn't want a cloud based system, I like the idea of a DVR to capture what I need and not pay for *another* subscription. I also wanted a wired camera system so I am not relying on the sun, battery life or WIFI connection - besides most of the "wireless" systems still need a power cable going to them, so If I am doing that - I might as well run the video feed with it. (another reason is that the cameras on the edges of the building would barely get a signal from the router) So you get everything you need for most buildings. The only thing I purchased separately were a longer set of cables for the outside corners and "Smile you are on camera: signs. (The decals they give you suck) I had it all up and running in one day, the hardest part was finding a way to bring in the cables through the bricks. The app works GREAT, I sued it to aim all the cameras. The DVR/Feeds works great nice clear pictures with a huge memory ( I think I can get at least a week, not sure) I chose to buy cameras that flip to "black and white" (IR) at night because I personally think you get a better picture (less grainy) that color night cameras, but you may hate that look. I *guess* the only things I could say that could possibly be a knock is: 1) The decals suck - too polite, they fade in the sun also 2) The cameras are all plastic - mounts and all 3) No sound (no mic in cameras) ***BUT*** for the price this systems is GREAT, you have to realize there needed to be some money saving things, but NONE of them take away from the important thing - the video quality, The APP, and the DVR quality. So I wanted to put up some security cameras just for some added protection. I went with this system because it came with 2 1080p cameras and a 1080n dvr with a 1tb hard drive. Overall the system works great. Awesome picture quality in the day and great picture at night. I want to say it was easy to install but there is always going to be an issue with finding a place to make a hole to run the cable. After it was all set up I turned it on. Out of the box the picture quality was just Ok. Only a few issues with picture being to bright or fuzzy. I then went through the menus and found all kinds of setting to mess with. After a few days and nights of adjusting and a lot of online reading I was able to get the quality up to 1080p standards. The only complaint I would have is that is doesn’t come with a book telling you what all the settings do. And even today. There are a few I still can’t figure out. I have it set up to continually record and I am not using any online streaming programs or the motion detection. I just recently bought 2 more cameras to add to the system. Overall I am really happy with it. Can’t beat the price anywhere. There were some reviews that I read before I bought it that made me think it’s not any good but I still went with it. People complaining about it rebooting all the time just never found the setting to disable auto reboot maintenance. You can also back up important videos with a flash drive, you don’t need the internet plugged in at all. You can also update via the usb with a flash drive. And if you do buy this system or any other system, don’t forget that you need to regularly clean the cameras lens to keep your picture quality good. I clean min about twice a month unless we get a lot of rainfall and or dusty windy weeks. I have already recommended this system to two of my friends. After about a month I started having issues with the dvr. The hard drive started showing errors and wasn’t recording. The playback was freezing and everything was running sluggish. I got ahold of Hiseeu and got helped right away. They said my dvr probably had a defected board. They quickly sent out another dvr and even gave me a free upgrade to 8ch dvr. The hard drive got formatted on my pc and I put it right in. Works so well I think I will have to order a few more cameras. Hiseeu’s customer service was amazing. Talked to them about my issues on Thursday and I had my replacement on Saturday. ... show more

Definitely a learning session. Getting cameras connected was a breeze once the password worked. I’ve taken my time “learning” how these very sensitive cameras work. I would love the actual detailed manual for these cameras. The quick guide needs someone who is better explaining how to navigate the settings. The instructions are confusing, it jumps around too much. But I think I’ll stick it out and “learn” how to tweak settings. Oh yeah too many notifications for the exact same view—still trying to figure that out—help?? ... show more

The media could not be loaded. PTZ incorrectly working in app and with unit. Cameras will blur and then black out. I PURCHASED 4 SETS OF THESE! I also have 5 sets of an older version, the older ones at least lasted several years. So disappointed. Contacting the service of Hiseeu was actually horrible as well, it used to be great. but now there is so much back and forth with a language barrier. ... show more
