Perfect for work outs, outdoor jogging & walks. I like the interface on this Mp3 player when accessing multi disc audiobooks in folders containing my mp3 files. I have used many different brands of Mp3 Players and I like the way files are handled and play in the correct order, for audiobooks on this device better than most other models. I don't have to reorder files with a third party App like "mp3DirSorterE.exe", which I have relied on in the past with other players. Bluetooth works well with Mp3 files music & audiobooks, but using the FM receiver on Bluetooth you will need to plug in a wired headset or at least the jack with a little wire left on it for an antenna. Video does not work with Mp4 this is stated in the specs,, files need to be converted to AVI. eBook text has two sizes which are readable. No Text-to-speech too bad. All in all a good player with a speaker. Great for the price. Hope it last for awhile.

This was a nice little gadget, but sadly I had to return it. The buttons flat ad are touch sensitive, If you have Hyperhidrosis and/or sweaty hands even in air conditioning, then I wouldn't buy it. The device would go wack because it thought I was holding a button, but I wasn't and it was water activating the button Otherwise, this is not a bad buy, in my opinion. Note however, factory reset does not delete songs you put on the device. I saw a format option and that might work but I don't know because that is not how I deleted my songs.

Updated 12/20/2023: I am revising my rating to one single star as I cannot vouch for the Agptek quality any more, and plus I came across some poor biz practices that you may want to think twice before buying. On the quality issue, lately I have been getting a lot of disk errors during playback on bluetooth but the micro SD plays in my older Agptek MP3. Then I tried to contact product support and discovered my seller is no longer listed on amazon, and the mp3 players are still selling under different seller names. So I tried to contact Agptek directly, and every link provided on their site either is dead or takes you back to the previous page. This is not the Agptek company I used to deal with and am moving on. Good luck with your purchases. I owned an older and non blue tooth Agptek mp3 player for many years and I was so elated to see this blue tooth model with the Type C charging port. And the price is so affordable for what you are getting. Blue tooth pairing is simple and I also appreciate their customer service sent me additional pairing instructions voluntarily as part of their post sale support. It has very good and more than adequate battery life with blue tooth on. The metal casing and size feels right in your hands and pocket, the new touch controls is a bit sensitive and I used the simple lock out function during playback. Others have complained of the lack of song shuffle control but mine has it, may be it has an updated firmware or one has to play with the controls. Controls are intuitive and I was able to play the micro SD card from my old Agptek with no issues. The screen color is too saturated and a bit difficult to discern which icon is lit up. Overall, I enjoy using this new player and hope it will last until my next upgrade.

Great old fashioned MP3 player

The media could not be loaded. Size is nice, and I like how there are 3 playlists you can make. It also sorts by artist, album, or genre categories, and when you turn it off and back on, it continues where you left off automatically. However, there are a few issues I have with how it operates. You apparently cannot have both shuffle and repeat all selected/active at the same time. You also can’t restart the song you were listening to by pressing the previous song button once, which irritates me the most. It will jump to a whole different song, and you won’t get back to that song you wanted to listen to again if you are using shuffle. In any of my previous mp3s this wasn’t an issue. If I’m busy or can’t look at my device, I like being able to restart a song easily, and I cannot do that with this mp3. In other mp3s, pressing the back button would also cycle you to the main menu, then back to the song currently playing , but this one does not do that.

I wanted a simple MP3 music player. This device works reliably and has lots of on-board storage plus a slot for more content. However, the user interface is horrible. It has a large screen but it is not a touch screen. The menu tree is the opposite of intuitive. The buttons below the screen lead you into a wilderness of dead-end functions. If you are accustomed to an iPod, this will feel like a distant planet. Do not lose the user guide. This device is also overly large. The case is polished metal so it is not easy to grip.
