We recently purchased 6 - OKPRO Solar Street Light for the liquor store, and it has exceeded expectations. Although, the bar was set relatively low. Living in an area with limited street lighting, safety concerns were always in the back of our minds. Also, the local electric company was gouging us for the ONE street light shining on the parking lot. However, this solar street light has genuinely provided a remarkable solution. Installation was a breeze – the package came with clear instructions, and we had it up and running within 10 minutes per light. **RECOMMENDATION: Goto your local hardware store and buy stronger headlock nails if installed into the wood structure of your building. The sturdy build of the light gives us confidence that it can withstand various weather conditions, which is crucial for an outdoor lighting fixture. The solar panel efficiently charges the built-in battery during the day, and the light automatically turns on as dusk falls. We appreciate the intelligent motion sensor feature that brightens the light even more when movement is detected, but our setting is always on, providing an extra layer of security. The brightness is just right – it illuminates a significant area without causing any light pollution, making it ideal for residential areas. We actually have 3 lights on one side, one in the back, and one in the front corner. One of the standout features for us is energy efficiency. I ordered the smaller version of this 2 weeks ago and it finally arrived. It was an easy setup, I got a 10 foot long 2 inch wide conduit pipe from my hardware store and mounted it on there. And from there I mounted it on my chain link fence pole with U-bolts The first couple of nights it worked great. Nice and bright. So I ordered the larger version. But after about a week of no direct sun I found that the stay on all the time feature is flawed. There is no mode that will have the light shut off until there is motion. Instead the light will go to 30% when idle and full brightness when there is motion. But because of a lack of sun the past few days it doesn't last the entire night. The instructions for the first unit was almost unreadable because of the translation from Mandarin Chinese to English. The new unit is a little better but still incomplete. The picture of the remote is a perfect example. What is the red button for? It's not listed in the instructions. I installed the new light so I will see what happens in a few days once it charges up. According to Okpro the range of the remote is 16-22 inches. That’s inches not feet Edit; After contacting the company it turned out I had a defective light. They replaced the light and now it’s working as it should. ... show more

*** UPDATED *** I installed the light on a temporary pole to see how I would like it. Went out the next day to adjust it an discovered the protective plastic decal pictured was already missing. Now there are three exposed holes where water can enter the light. I could not find the decal as it was windy. With no better option I covered the holes with clear packing tape which seems to work, but disappointed. The seller refunded my money for the purchase. The light continues to work. I'm going to use the refund to buy another one for another spot. Great to see companies stand behind their products. I have bumped to a 5 star for support after the sale. ... show more

Product ordered 3/22/24 said would arrive 3/27/24, did not arrive until 4/1/24. Outer box was damaged and open, inner seemed intact. Removed from box, something was rattling inside light casing, charged as instructed to full charge over two days. Tested light before putting on pole. Rattle was still evident, light was flickering and seemed to be shorting out. Defective, cheap plastic, Rattle was some big piece in housing and whatever it is should not be moving around inside. I had high hopes but I would not recommend this product unless this company steps up it's QC protocols. ... show more

Worked well for about 6 months, then as other have said, it just quit working. Look elsewhere, Update March 2024: Changing my rating to 4 stars because I was contacted by the seller and refunded. I still have climb way up and take it down so took off a star. There was good customer service however and I was very please with that part of this experience. ... show more

The light is very bright (probably the brightest solar light in the world at this size )and easy to set up. Just open the box, there’s a small post, and multiple brackets to connect the light. Note you will need some type of pole. I suggest you buy a flag pole. I found one on Harbor freight tools that’s worked that’s 20 feet long and fit good and under sixty dollrs. The light has many settings my suggestion if you need light all night is to keep the light running at 50% -70% which is still very bright. It’ll last late into the night and it charges very good. The only issue I had is the motion sensor should be improved as it seems to require objects too close. Other than that the light is fantastic. Even my adult son asked me what powers that light I told him it’s solar and he said “wow are you kidding that bright from solar” that was his impression. Overall the parts and the light are also very strong and look to be made of very good quality. I have two in my ranch now and I like them. ... show more
