I ordered the Fortean Retro Entryway Bench with Nailhead trim and the black & white pattern cushion, and this is one of those pieces that looks even better in person than it does in the listing. The design is really what stands out. It has that classic, slightly vintage look with the patterned cushion and the nailhead trim, and it just adds a really nice touch to the space. It works perfectly in an entryway, but I also think it would look great at the end of a bed or even in a living room as extra seating. The quality is also very solid. The frame feels sturdy and well made, and the cushion has a nice amount of padding so it is actually thick and comfortable to sit on. It does not feel flimsy at all, and once assembled it feels stable and secure. Assembly was straightforward simple and easy and took about 5 minutes. Everything lined up as it should, and the instructions were easy to follow. You only need to screw the legs into the pre-drilled holes. I also like the versatility of this piece. It works great as a place to sit and put on shoes, but it can also be used as extra seating when needed or even just as a decorative accent piece. It is one of those items that blends in easily with different styles of decor. Overall, I am really happy with this bench. It looks great, feels well made, and is very functional. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something stylish and practical.

This retro entryway bench has a bold look that matches the listing, and I like that the top is removable with a washable cover, making it easy to switch up the style. The decorative nailhead trim is purely cosmetic not functional, and the base is a metal frame with fabric stretched over it rather than a solid bottom, though the staples do hold everything in place well. The biggest downside is comfort. The cushion is very firm, makes a crinkly noise when you sit, and the foam compresses without bouncing back, which leaves it feeling lumpy over time. The legs are stable but feel lightweight compared to the rest of the bench, and assembly was more tedious than necessary due to the many hex screws and unclear leg orientation. Overall, I wasnt overly impressed. It looks nice and has some thoughtful features, but it doesn’t feel high quality or particularly comfortable.
