This lightweight electric wheelchair is exactly what I expected. The non-metallic surfaces are mostly netting, and it is surprisingly comfortable to sit in, with a thin, padded seat that is sufficient for a person of my weight and height. I weigh 115 pounds and am 5’6” tall. I don't know if a heavier person would find it as comfortable as I do. It weighs 5 pounds less than my manual custom ultralight wheelchair and folds into a compact space smaller than my manual wheelchair. Upon unpacking, however, the maneuverability was extremely difficult. I found it extremely difficult to steer, and it slipped on my wood and vinyl floors. I realized the issue was the wheels' manufacturing finish. I discovered that running it around my driveway quickly wore off the wheels' shiny finish. It took about 20 minutes for the finish to wear off, so the wheels maneuvered much more easily. It's much easier to use now. I feel that it will be fine for travel, and it's a great value for the money. I think it's important to remember, however, that this is a lightweight wheelchair, not a durable scooter, but it does the job it’s intended to do. Because the chair is lightweight, the brakes don't hold well, so care is required when transferring into and out of the wheelchair. It's a stability issue that’s probably unavoidable in a lightweight wheelchair. I use a Hoverround chair at home, but I purchased this one for travel and appointments. It will be fine for that, but I won't depend on this wheelchair lasting long under heavy use. The trade-off for a lightweight chair is acceptable and to be expected. I don't know if this would be suitable for a heavy person or one significantly taller than I am, but it works well for me. I advise caution when transferring due to the chair's light weight, and I would also advise operating at a slower speed around corners and through narrow doorways and hallways. The joystick controls are easy to use. The chair has a beep button for a caution to let people know that you are approaching, as well as a speech function that startled me when I first powered up the chair. It's quite loud, so you can use it to let others know that you're approaching or backing up. It also has an SOS button that loudly asks for help. I can imagine that it could be useful if you got into trouble. Fortunately, there is a handy mute button 🔕 to turn off the demanding voice. It became annoying quite quickly. You can control the speed and monitor the battery charge, all with a few buttons on the controller. It's easy to control once you get the hang of it.

I am in my 70s and I am a three-time cancer survivor. Because of all of the chemotherapy and radiation treatments my bones have become brittle. I was standing in my bedroom on Monday and my left leg gave out on me. My tibia and Fibia both broke, I tore the Cartlidge in my right knee and tore the ligaments in my left ankle. I am completely immobile. I ordered this wheelchair 48 hours ago and was told it would take approximately four days for delivery. It arrive 24 hours later, was super simple to put together annd charge and now I am mobile again. I had to have a very specific wheelchair because my wife is petite and can’t lift anything heavy.I wish I could give you a 10 star rating!

Id give it 5 stars fit n' finish, foldability, weight, at any price point. 4 stars due to the 2 quirks far MY intial usabilty. 1st Seat back is not adjustable it sits me to upright and foward for my body type. I'd like an adjustable seat back positioning. Second issue I experienced was lag in joystick steering in full power mode. Its better in power mode settings 2 or 3 in tight places and around people. Overall great buy so far, weight, ease of use, and almost ready to use out of the box. Taking it on vaction, I'll see who well it does on VK as no time to modify the back rest. Im 5'10'' 225lb with an old, out of shape wrestlers build, athlectic all my life. Injured back a couples years back. Power and battery life soon to be tested.

It is very hard to find a wheelchair for very small individuals I am five feet one. $93. I have been fighting with my insurance company for two years, so this wheelchair was actually purchased and donated to me. Thank God, with the use of this chair, electric chair. To use outdoors, I highly recommend it.
