I bought the color "Forestwood", which appears like a dark brownish green or a bark color depending on the lighting. I bought a sz L, fits very well for a 42" bust and hits below my bottom. I am 5'3" with a short torso. It is very well constructed, snaps work w/out a problem. Just a very nice lightweight jacket for the money. Overall, great affordable jacket for cold weather. I highly recommend. Pros: Great value- This is the best $10 I’ve spend on a jacket. Keeps me warm- My work place is cold, 60’s F (at least for me since I live in Hawaii) and this jacket keeps me warm through the day. I haven’t been in cold weather outdoors with it so I can’t speak to actual winter conditions. Pockets- four pockets with snap closures, two at hip and two on chest area. Lightweight- super light and not bulky so I don’t look like the Michelin man Cons: No zipper- I wish the jacket was zippered instead of snap closures but I can’t complain too much since it was affordable. Holes can let in cold air. Sizing- it’s a little big as an XS, I’m 5’2”, 105 lbs and it is loose on me, but that might be to give me space for layers if I actually needed them. Pockets- again wished they were zippered so things don’t fall out and there are no pockets in the interior of jacket. ... show more

I bought this because it was on Oprah's Favorite Things and I needed a light, packable, waterproof coat. At first, I thought this looked too masculine on me and awas going to return it. But, I'm really glad I didn't. This has become a staple for me and I've actually taken it on a couple of trips and it was perfect. It is somehow more lightweight than a cardigan, but warmer than a jacket. I don't know what kind of voodoo they used making this, but it's really a chameleon coat. It doesn't have a hood, so that slightly detracts from it's waterproof capabilities, but I feel like a hood would just add bulk to it anyway. I was looking for a solid color shirt-jacket and this was a great find. It is very lightweight-almost feels like nothing when wearing it but it is also somewhat wind-resistant and warm. But also easy to unsnap if you get warm-no fussing with zippers. It has a slightly oversized fit and a smooth lining so sweaters slide under just fine. It does have a bit of a rustling sound so that could be an issue if "noisy" clothes bother you, but I'm okay with that. The media could not be loaded. I have not yet had chance to wear this jacket. From trying it on I think I’m going to like it. It’s thinner but yet feels warm. The snaps are nice. The pockets are deep. There are two inside pockets inside the jacket. It comes down as far as my butt, which is kind of nice. For the price of $16, worth it!! I received this jacket for Christmas and absolute loved how lightweight it was but was skeptical if it could keep me warm in cold weather. I live in southeast Texas and the weather rarely gets below 40 degrees and this jacket is perfect for mild winters. The jacket is warm and easy to clean. I needed a last minute jacket to visit family in the mountains during the holidays. This coat was perfect! It felt great layered over a sweater in 20 degree F nights, and felt extremely comfortable over a t shirt during a 40 degree hike. Not stuffy at all and pleasant airflow in the sleeves. And lots of pockets to hold items. It’s a beautiful coat for the price. Looks similar to my quilted Barbour but at 1/10 of the price. I bought an XL for an oversized, country look. Not too boxy.
