Features

  • SUPERIOR DURABILITY: Queen of Tarps uses superior materials to ensure these tarps stand up to your toughest requirements. Our tarps are crafted from high-quality, food-grade, non-toxic polymer resin constructed into a cross-laminated, multi-layered material. This process makes our tarps stretchable, flexible, and strong enough to resist tears and punctures. This heavy duty tarp has a density of 120 GSM, which is a truer measurement of strength, and is the equivalent of 12 mil thickness.
  • POPULAR USES: Cover your truck, car, motorcycle, roof, yard, cabin, outdoor furniture or your kiddie pool. Use for camping to protect the bottom of your tent from rocks and moisture, lay out a picnic, or keep your campfire out of the rain. Cover any lumber, firewood and just about anything else. Our tarps are suitable for agricultural, commercial, industrial, recreational, residential, or construction use in both outdoor and indoor situations.
  • 100% WATERPROOF: The unique cross-laminated, multi-layered, and multi-axis construction of our tarps makes them completely waterproof to protect your possessions from water, rain, or snow. With its unique properties, our tarps also will not develop leaks at folds or bends as can happen with woven material. Our tarps are also weather- and UV-resistant so can withstand the harsh outdoor conditions without failure.
  • EASY TO USE AND SECURE: Fasten the tarp to structures, trees, or stakes with ropes, bungee cords, or zip ties. The grommets are spaced at 2-foot intervals around the tarp's perimeter with the corner grommets positioned closer together for more stable tying. Ultrasonic welds reinforce the grommets, and at the corners, the grommets are also capped, adding extra strengthening. Fold the tarp away when not in use, and never worry about the tarp becoming weak or tearing at the folds.
  • MULTIPLE SIZES & STRENGTHS: Queen of Tarps has the size and strength of tarp to match all your protection needs from 6' X 8' to 30' X 50' sizes. Available in light, heavy, and super heavy duty strengths, our tarps are durable and tear resistant. In addition to blue and blue/green, we offer translucent tarps that allow you visual access to the objects underneath and that are ideal in greenhouse and garden applications.

  • Impressive durability! Survived extreme winds for days
Size: 20x25 Super Duty Color: Translucent
So I was a bit apprehensive at first. The tarp had an odd sticky filmy texture that I did not love, but I desperately needed a cover for my greenhouse before the rains ruined everything inside. This was the best option I could find in the right size, so I gave it a chance. We had a MASSIVE wind storm about a month later. Days of falling trees, power outages, and property damage. This happens here once or twice a year, but not usually to the level that there is a full week of weather advisory alerts. This was the biggest wind-related storm warning I have seen since I moved here, though I am sure it still doesn't compare to places that get hurricanes or tornadoes. Anyway, about two days into this wind storm I looked out the window and saw my greenhouse once again bare to the elements as the tarp had blown off and was flapping against its (apparently insufficient) tethers, and over a pointy wire fence. I thought it was toast, and was angry about the wasted money and my own foolishness in not tying it down more securely. I left it there, on the fence, flapping in the wind, for FOUR DAYS till the high wind warning was over. I went out to assess the damage and found to my amazement that the tarp was not only still usable but entirely unharmed. Even the grommets taking the full force of the wind were perfectly fine. No sign of tearing or stretching out. No punctures or tears in the tarp body. Honestly it still looks brand new... except that the objectionable texture is gone! Few things get BETTER having gone through a wind storm, but I really couldn't be happier with it so far. At the time of this review I have had the tarp on for about four and a half months. UPDATE: over a year in now. Once again we had a wind storm. Once again my tethers failed me and the tarp was pulled off and left to flail till the storm had passed. Now on close examination I can see a tiny amount of damage, but only at the corners where the tarp is stretched tightly over corrugated fiberglass. It seems the fiberglass is functioning like a saw and chewing at the tarp. In a over a year the damage is still so minimal I am impressed. Picture is from after the last wind storm. I will not be lowering my rating. The abuse this tarp has withstood is immense, and I've never found a tarp that would do better. I will update again if/when the tarp does die on me, but considering it seems far sturdier than it's predecessor which made it almost 10 years, I think I won't be updating any time soon. ... show more

  • Very Strong for wind and rain.
Size: 8x10 Light Duty Color: Translucent
I just installed using staples on my pergola and it worked perfectly. When it rains, water doesn't go through and when is windy it doesn't rip at all even when the wind is really strong.

  • 2 years later, still holding up!
Size: 30x50 Heavy Duty Color: Translucent
Our old house has a slab roof that needs resurfacing but it's an expensive venture to do it properly and I was getting tired and frustrated of the leaks and waiting on the funds to take care of it. So I searched for a tarp that would actually last and not disintegrate after a few months in the tropical sun. I found the queen of tarps and bought 2 of the largest size 2 years ago. Dare I say that but for some wear on a couple of chafing points, the tarp is still intact. True, condensation does collect underneath the plastic so the roof isn't completely dry. But at least I don't have to worry about leaks in every room until we get to start doing renovations to the house. ... show more

  • A little strange
Size: 8x10 Super Duty Color: Translucent
This tarp seems heavy duty and initially durable against tearing; but it’s so stiff that if you fold it to a point, it leaves an indentation in the plastic. I’m sure that, over time with enough folding, these indentations will turn into tiny holes and ultimately tears. And it’s not mesh reinforced like I thought it would be. I would have preferred something with the same thickness but some malleability to tolerate folds. ... show more

  • Works Great for Our Greenhouse but Failed as a cover of our subfloor construction. See update.
Size: 16x20 Heavy Duty Color: Translucent
Update: We had good luck using the 16x20 tarp as a greenhouse cover, so we decided to make the investment for a 30x50 tarp to cover an OSB subfloor of the house we are building. It is monsoon season in Arizona so we wanted make sure we were buying a quality tarp to protect our build. We paid $229 for the tarp and frankly, expected it to actually be waterproof. We secured the tarp around the perimeter of the deck (24 x40 feet). After the first big storm there were areas of water, UNDER THE TARP. We removed the tarp and let everything dry out and once again secured the tarp covering the entire subfloor. The next heavy rain and the same thing happened. Water under the tarp. Let me be clear, this is not condensation. This is rain water that has permiated the tarp. I decided to contact the seller and explain the situation. Here is what I wrote: **Hello! I have purchased 3 tarps from you and have been very satisfied with your products until now. We purchased a 30 x 50 translucent tarp to cover a wooden deck. The tarp is not waterproof. With the tarp secured in place, rain gets through the tarp and gets the deck wet, completely defeating it's purpose. At $229, I had hoped it would indeed be waterproof like the description indicates. The previous purchases were of the same tarp, smaller sizes that we use as a covering for our Greenhouse. We never have noticed water dripping through, but then again, because of the tunnel shape of the structure, the water quickly runs off. The Deck cover however has standing water on it after a big storm, and the water finds its way through the material.** I got a very quick response explaining that the tarp is in fact 100% waterproof but what I am experiencing must be the result of humidity or ground moisture (The subfloor is 36" off the ground). Word of caution. If it absolutely, positively has to be waterproof, I cannot endorse this tarp. As a greenhouse cover it has been excellent. But to prevent water ( which may pool on the tarp) from getting to the item being protected, you may want to look elsewhere. END UPDATE This is the first tarp I have ever seen with a 5 year UV warranty, according to the sellers description. This was NOT indicated or mentioned on the package. We're using it to cover the greenhouse and we like the look of it and the amount of light that is transmitted. I'm going to hold them to the warranty! Hopefully we won't need it. ... show more
