30' x 40' Foremost Tarp 23040 Silver/Brown Dry Top Silver Brown 10-Mil Heavy Duty Reversible Tarp From the Manufacturer This Silver/Brown reversible polyethylene tarp is a full finished size opposed to other “cut size” tarps. The super heavy duty polyethylene material is 5.5 oz/sq.yrd, 14 X 14 cross weave, laminated on both sides, and UV treated for maximum weatherproofing and tear resistance. High strength rust resistant grommets on each industrial capped corner and approx. every 18” around the perimeter along with a rope-reinforced hem add to this tarps long lasting durability. This is a great multi-purpose tarp that can be used around the house and/or work place.

The tarp came in good shape and good time. I have only used it a short time so the telling will be in terms of how long it lasts. I am using it to cover a hay stack in a community where we are required to use brown (or green) when we tarp things. Consequently, I could not order a traditional hay tarp. Updated almost a year later: this tarp has done a great job of protecting my hay through all kinds of weather including more than a foot of snow. It is still in good shape so I expect to get a second season out of it...most of the folks around only get one season from a tarp before it starts to leak. I will be ordering another. ... show more

This tarp did not tear or stretch after multiple times repositioning it and moving it over the roof and a metal frame. It endured several almost pointed pipes without causing any tear. Don’t order if you need a super well made tarp. I guess it’s okay for the price point but eyelets were ripping with less than 10lbs of weight on them. Not exactly worth the hassle or returning so it will have to do

I'm using this tarp to cover a destroyed car tent until I can replace it. We just had 30 mph winds blow through here yesterday and this tarp held up beautifully! I got a small tear where we had a tarp clip but I think its because we had it a little tight.

Very thick, I have used mine to cover a leaking porch for the past few months. I think this tarp could last 6-12 months or more on a roof, but if you're using it for this purpose then let it sit in the sun for a few days first as it will draw up a few inches.

When received in August, 2020 the tarp seemed of good quality i.e. reasonable thickness and construction. However about a month ago I noticed several tears in it and then the other day it ripped in half. My guess is the UV treatment in the description is poor and just not suitable for long term storage ..... though that's what they tout! I paid $123+taxes, not worth it in my view. ... show more
