The media could not be loaded. I set it up to test it before hard mounting it, and I was impressed by how well it worked. I started with 65 degree hose water, and at a flow rate of about 3/4 gallon per minute it easily raised the water temp by 40 degrees. Using the heater to fill a bucket, the water in the bucket was a little over 95 degrees, the water heater was displaying a little over 115, so it reads a little higher than it can produce. As the water flow increases, the output temp falls as it cannot keep up, and the temp on the heaters display falls quickly. This thing will be great in the shop this winter to have a little hot water to wash hands etc. probably would even be useful to fill a bucket with warm water to wash a car when it’s cold out. I did buy some NPT to garden hose brass adapter fittings. Amazon knew exactly what I needed and recommended them when I was looking at the heater. Add a little thread tape, it works great! ... show more
