This stovetop is really pretty good for the money. It has a nice modern appearance. Cleaning it isn't a big deal, just a wet sponge, dry with a soft paper towel, then I use special wipes made for stainless steel to remove any streaks. No mounting hardware or instructions are included, the directions just focus on the cut-out and gas connections. So I'm just going to figure something out, I'll probably just drop a big bead of silicone around it and call it done. The burners are pretty good, but they don't burn as hot as I would like.

I am in the process of getting one house ready to sell and moving back to my favorite town. There, because I cannot afford to purchase an already existing house (the housing market everywhere is insane these days), I am opting for a small lot to build a small home with the help of friends. That is why I tested and put this gas stove back in its box. I know it works with the small propane tank and it does come with the parts for both propane and natural gas so I can set it up with either. Where I'm moving to, most of the area has natural gas and electric available at the street for hook up, but if the lot I purchase doesn't have it, most of the city is serviced by companies that will bring out an appropriate sized LP tank for your situation and fill it regularly. I mention all this because I have had all-electric homes and absolutely HATE coil-type electric stove tops. Gas is the BEST way to cook no matter what the government is squawking about "outlawing" gas stoves. Pry it away from me you bunch of goofballs! Anyway, I love the size of this 5-burner stove top - a perfect size for everything you want to do! Got a big wok and love to stir fry? The large, middle back burner is perfect for that! Just have a small pan of left-over soup for a light lunch? The small, right front burner is perfect for that! I also love the slate gray/charcoal black color of this stove top - it blends in well to any surrounding. Beautiful, useful - almost professional grade in my opinion. Of course, I'm not a master chef, but for a person who loves to cook, this is a wonderful gas stove top.

Our old stove was about 30 years old and had various chips, stains, and such. Plus, we recently had been noticing a slight gas smell from under the stove. On a whim, decided it was time to replace the stove and the hose that goes to it. I've done electrical and plumbing work in the past so figured I'd give it a shot. Wasn't difficult. I got a hose kit from here on Amazon and went to work. I did run into an issue though at no fault of the stove maker. Attaching the regulator directly to the stove caused the regulator get hit by the drawer when it was closed. Ran to Ace around the corner and grabbed a brass 45 degree adapter. At that point everything went together fine and the drawer was no longer hitting the regulator. I have a digital combustible gas detector and checked over and over again (same day, next day, the next day) since it was my first gas piping job. Happily, I can say that there has been no leaks. After using the stove for a bit now, both my wife and me are really enjoying it. We really like the middle eye which has the double gas ring and heats things up really fast. Going from a four eye to a five eye stove has been a pleasure. My wife likes the wok adapter which keeps it a lot more steady. So, far it has been easy to keep clean. We are trying to be better about keeping up with wiping it down every time we get anything on it.

We grabbed this one because it was one of the more affordable modification units for our outdoor kitchen we are building and while we are not done with construction yet, we still hooked it up to try it and see how stable and sturdy it is. All parts are built very well and sturdy and yes, it is easy to clean up and wipe down. It worked perfectly and I can't wait to get it installed, it is going to make all of the difference in our outdoor kitchen along with our other cooking devices and the fact that it runs on propane will be a money saver for sure. It's going to be super easy to install, less than a 10-15 minute job including the fit inside of the frame. I am so glad we got this because when I was pricing some of the other tops ranges, they were at least 3 times more costly. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who is in the market for a replacement or doing what we are doing and building an outdoor cooking area. I hope you find this review helpful!
