I've used my GE stovetop for over 10 years, and suddenly the glass surface cracked. After checking out The Home Depot, Lowes and online at Amazon, I finally decided on this one and have been using it for a week now. **Pros** 1. **Good value for the price ** Similar to my GE model, it is equipped with the “dual-bridge” function that allows you to adjust the size of cooking zones to suite your requirement. This provides me the flexibility to use my griddle. The latest GE model with similar function with cost over $800, this cooktop is definitely more affordable. 2. **Easy Installation ** As a replacement for my current cooktop, wiring is relatively easy to figure out. This product has 4 wires with different colors- 2 hot wires (red and black), ground wire (yellow) could be directly connected to the existing socket, and the last white wire, as suggested by customer service, is designed for “keep warm” burner at the top right corner. 3. **Responsive Customer Service** Both pre-sales and aftersales services are very fast and professional. They answered my questions on the product dimensions to help me pick up the right size product and have provided me the link of the tutorial video and a soft copy of instruction to assist me with my installations. They have also provided the one-year complementary tech support after purchase, which seems quite promising. 4. **Safety Certification ** Following the advice of my friend who is a certified electrician, ETL and FCC certifications are very crucial safety standards for this category. This product has them both. **Cons** 1. **Hidden Installation Parts ** The installation parts were buried at the corner of the foam packaging and very hard to find. I missed them when I first opened the package. The aftersales team helped me relocate those parts before I throw out the package. I bought this hoping it would be ok. I have had it for a few weeks and love it. I think for the money it is excellent. It heats up very fast and is easy to ckean. I will post again in a few months, but for now I am very happy with this cooktop.

Just like some of the reviewers mentioned, the burners will turn off by themselves for no reason (timer not set). They take long time to heat up and then the temp is not that great even at max setting. Occasionally, the middle burner would not turn on at all. We would have to turn the whole stove off and back on to to get the middle burner going. Too bad. We like the look and the layout. It seems that the control section needs more work. ... show more

Ordered this model to replace an old Frigidaire. The replacement is smooth. Great product support and you can get answers for all your questions. It fits, easy to connect the wires and most importantly it works very well. Now after several parties, I would give it a 5 star, especially for its sync burner function, which makes grilling faster for a big dish. For those who cares about safety of their families, this oven is approved fully by ETL/FCC. Make sure looking for this brand when you buy a stove top from Amazon.
