"Price is what you pay, value is what you get.” - Warren Buffett You will not pay as much, but you will not get as much either. Glass cracked twice in two different places with normal (not abusive) use. Cannot recommend. While it does work and is stylish, how can it rate highly if that is compromised with a cracked surface? The controls are not that confusing for those who read. The auto-off feature is more a safety benefit than nuisance. Bottom line, the unit is inexpensive but not very valuable.

I've used my GE stovetop for over 10 years, and suddenly the glass surface cracked. After checking out The Home Depot, Lowes and online at Amazon, I finally decided on this one and have been using it for a week now. **Pros** 1. **Good value for the price ** Similar to my GE model, it is equipped with the “dual-bridge” function that allows you to adjust the size of cooking zones to suite your requirement. This provides me the flexibility to use my griddle. The latest GE model with similar function with cost over $800, this cooktop is definitely more affordable. 2. **Easy Installation ** As a replacement for my current cooktop, wiring is relatively easy to figure out. This product has 4 wires with different colors- 2 hot wires (red and black), ground wire (yellow) could be directly connected to the existing socket, and the last white wire, as suggested by customer service, is designed for “keep warm” burner at the top right corner. 3. **Responsive Customer Service** Both pre-sales and aftersales services are very fast and professional. They answered my questions on the product dimensions to help me pick up the right size product and have provided me the link of the tutorial video and a soft copy of instruction to assist me with my installations. They have also provided the one-year complementary tech support after purchase, which seems quite promising. 4. **Safety Certification ** Following the advice of my friend who is a certified electrician, ETL and FCC certifications are very crucial safety standards for this category. This product has them both. **Cons** 1. **Hidden Installation Parts ** The installation parts were buried at the corner of the foam packaging and very hard to find. I missed them when I first opened the package. The aftersales team helped me relocate those parts before I throw out the package. It would be easier if they could label them properly, so people won’t miss them at the first place. 2. **Mirror-Like Surface ** The mirror finishing surface is prone to fingerprint. I recommend applying mild cleaner after the surface cools down to avoid leaving burnt marks. So far I am satisfied with my purchase, but I will update my comments if something happens later.
