This scooter is ideal for first time riders and beginners because it is stable and easy to use. For toddlers it steers much like sit-down, ride-on vehicles so the transition from there to understand how to steer it makes sense to them. It doesn’t steer too hard so it maintains its stability well. It will work for older kids too, just the handlebar height can’t be adjusted so they have to be able to reach the 55” height while riding. The colors and the lights are appealing to kids and engaging. I bought the blue and red version. The lights help with visibility and kids love them. Mine will keep pushing the scooter to watch the lights blink. It rolls nicely but no so far I have to worry about them getting away from me rolling down the sidewalk. My daughter loves this scooter self balancing. Easy turning. Durable and easy to assemble. Wheels light up had it for a few months and they still light up. Accidentally ran it over with the car partially but surprisingly it was fine.

Super cute and was very excited to give to my daughter for her birthday, but the wheels don't light up at all which is such a bummer. It was very inexpensive, but I was disappointed the wheels don't light up. Guessing I just got a bad egg, but was a huge bummer since it was a special birthday gift.
