  • Steering takes some getting used to.
Color: Pink
Got this for my soon to be 5 year old to replace a kiddie scooter. She loved that the wheels light up but the lean to steer is hard for her to understand. When she pushes the scooter, she wants to lean forward so the scooter will already start leaning to one side. She got a bit scared and didn't want to use it but was up to learning/trying it again. I'm trying to work on her balance. The deck is large enough where she was able to put both feet on it side by side and I pushed her for a bit. The handlebars are rubber and feel better than foam. Since the max weight indicated is 180lbs I gave it a try and the lean to steer seems a bit more difficult (I don't ride scooters often). It is a bit big and the design is probably better for older kids as it's not very cute. The scooter doesn't seem to be too heavy (the metal frame that you stand on is hollow square frame); I carried it for a little more than a mile and it wasn't tiring. I thought the mechanism to lay the handle down to be a bit of a struggle as it took some muscle to pull it up but that should make it pretty safe. I do wonder if the plastic part will wear down over time though. ... show more

  • We took this through the airport and loved it!
Color: Pink
My daughter loved the scooter, we took it through the airport and it was easy to put in the overhead compartment. Plus, she was able to ride it all over on our vacation.

  • Easy to Assemble, Obviously Generic, Durability Remains to be Seen
Color: Blue
This is a decent scooter. The incredibly generic nature of it (literally the word “scooter” just on the deck and the front lol) does not add to the sense of being well made. The ride is smooth, it was generally easy to assemble but I wish the instructions referenced the actual associated letters of screws and bolts so that it’s glaringly obvious to whoever is assembling. The kids do enjoy it but all the different sounds it makes just moving with the metal shifting does not seem longterm durable. My son was riding on the first day and a black piece came off the bottom (does not affect functionality) and there’s no way to reattach it which again does not make me think it is made well. With this in mind, I’m not convinced it’s worth the price. With all the metal pieces, I’m not sure how much of a pinching hazard it could prove to be for the kids either. But for now, they do have fun with it and the light up wheels are a nice touch. Also, there was some scuffing in transit on the brake piece of ours. Not a big deal but you don’t like to see damage on a new product. ... show more

  • Sturdy, Roomy Platform, Adjusts to Child's Size, Kids Love the Lights & Makes Safer
Color: Blue
This is a really fun and safe sturdy toy that can be enjoyed across a range of ages because of the size of the base and ability to extend the post at the front so the handlebars may be lower or higher depending on the child's size. I ordered it for our 6-year-old niece who stays with us regularly to give her something fun and active to do outside once the weather breaks, as it's still winter here. We have a big smooth paved area that's perfect for riding it safely instead of having to be in the road (we're in a rural area so no sidewalks). First of all, everything seems very solid quality in construction, and it's a really cute scooter. You have stability with the good-sized platform base where the feet go, and 3 wheels instead of 2 which older kids might use. And of course the light-up wheels are awesome because kids love light-up anything, and it also makes them more visible if it's a darker day or in the evening. It also folds down so I can easily pack it up in the trunk and take it with us to any park with riding paths so she can ride with us and have more fun as we walk and get out in nature together. Overall, it seems like good quality and value for what you get, and it also would make a wonderful children's gift that will grow with them. I would definitely recommend it! ... show more

  • Easy to assemble and grows with your child
Color: Blue
This three real scooter was so easy to assemble! Once it was put together, my daughter enjoyed it even on the grass and we live in the country. She especially likes the ease of the wheels as a glides smoothly on a flat surface. The scooter has a safety break that allows kids to stop and have a height adjustment that adds value to the product itself. The light up wheels makes it fun for the kids and the overall quality shows the scooter will last for many years to come. This one will grow with my daughter until she's about 11 or so. ... show more

  • Nice Scooter, Assembly Instructions Could Be Improved
Color: Blue
This is a decent, affordable kid’s scooter (approx $35 as of ordering). The base is wide and the 3 wheels make it easy to balance (although note that causes a wide turning radius compared to a 2 wheel scooter). The lights aren’t as bright as the photos show, but the wheels do light up, which is fun. My biggest complaint about this is the assembly instructions. Assembly itself is fortunately not too hard so I was able to figure it out myself. But the booklet that comes with this gives helpful instructions such as “assemble according to the screw sequence” with a photo showing numbers, however, the screws are identified with letters on the parts page. And there were a lot of extra parts. I think this product could benefit from a re-write of the assembly instructions. Otherwise it’s a cute scooter that can be adjusted for taller/shorter riders. Update - we finally had our first warm day in a while to get some use out of this. I took my son out for a 2 mile loop today to the library and lunch, and this scooter worked great on the local trail. He isn’t the most coordinated kid (still can’t ride a bike), but he had no trouble getting going on this scooter and had a great time! ... show more

  • Dangerous and poorly made
Color: Blue
This thing is poorly made and dangerous. You have to assemble half of it but part of it was assembled in the factory. It includes a wrench and Allen key to assemble but the parts that were pre assembled in the factory uses a different size wrench and Allen key which is unfortunate since the pre assembled portions are super loose to the point of making the scooter dangerous to use. The loose parts make this scooter impossible to ride. ... show more
