This item is exactly what I needed. Please note this is not wood, but it does a great job of looking like it. It is metal. I have used it many times since purchase as have others in my family no problems. I needed a stepstool without the handle curved around the top. The stairs are a bit steep, but that's OK for my purpose, but if you needed to go up and down alot I could see it being cumbersome. Nothing at all to hold on to due to lack of handle, but fair trade off for what I need. I do want to point out that something metal is rattling around in one of the legs. We can't figure out what it is, nothing seems broken from the outside and it works fine so far so we didn't send it back. ... show more
