I purchased this for both ambiance and some heat for cooler nights in northern Florida. It took about 1.25 hours to assemble. It is a great product with solid structure and a beautiful fire box. Love the depth and glass sides. Colors are great! I have the largest size and it doesn’t overwhelm.

It was very easy to assemble with both my husband and me putting it together. I don't think it took us an hour. It is solid, well-tooled that everything fits perfect once it is put together. The isntructions are good and all the pieces were there. Love all the features of the flame which is just beautiful especially when the house is dark. It's quiet so no background noise when it is operating. I did a temporary attachment to the wall in the event we move and want to take it with us. I notched out space at the base on the baseboard and caulked the sides. I needed to shim the base so that the sides were flush with the wall. I drilled a hole in the side to put the electrical cord and then put it with that magic tape on top of the baseboard after painting it the same color as the wall. You can't see it so it appears to be attached permanently to the wall. I am glad we went with the 50" with our open space. I didn't buy it for the heater which is the reason I can't give it a rating. What a beautiful, fairly inexpensive way to update a room. ... show more

It is not what I expected. It is very cheaply made, and you cannot really see the flames at all. It is not sturdy at all, afraid if I lean on the top, it will buckle. There are gaps between the fireplace display and the cabinet. The grey top does not go with the white, very blasé. I am going to see if I can paint the top. Returns are not free so not sure what I am going to do with this. ... show more

Overall a great fire place. Easy enough to put together. Boxes came a day apart, which was confusing cause it showed as delivered on Amazon. Other than that, it puts out good heat, and is a very attractive fireplace. Wish there was a setting between the orange and white fire setting. The orange is a little unrealistic. I also wish it had more logs and less of the glass….I find myself wishing it was slightly less modern and more realistic. But overall good. ... show more
