I purchased these just a few weeks ago and they are falling down CONSTANTLY. I cleaned the all the windows and the sticky adhesive comes right off the blinds and stays on my wood trim. I had paper blinds, similar fashion, for three years with no issues. These fabric ones don’t have as well of an adhesive as the paper ones had. The temporary blinds were a great value and perfect for our purpose. That purpose was having decent window coverings while house is for sale. However, how they were packed was very flimsy. The fabric blinds had creases because of the lightweight packing materials. We 'made it work' by laying them flat and straightening them as much as we could and using the clips to pull them into shape. This is my only complaint. when I got these blinds I did not know exactly what I was going to get, now that have them I took my time to talk about them as they have some good and some not so good. - the are of good quality materials -easy to instal as it has a 3D tape so no mess and no holes on the walls -they are easy to cut if they are too large for the space needed -they are very malleable so ti keep them open I need to use these little clamps, I hoped this product was sturdy enough to stay up on its own. - they do not block light -the glue on it is pretty good and stays pretty nice in any place. all and all it is a ok item for a temporary fix, but I am not sure if these blinds are proper for permanent shades at a house hold, perhaps an office and a restroom. overall it is a pretty good quick fix. ... show more

I love playing video games. Oftentimes, I need to be able to see dark pictures on my TV - nearly IMPOSSIBLE when sunlight is streaming in through the windows. This meant that I needed to restrict my gaming time...to the evening. Pretty ridiculous lol. NOT WITH THESE SHADES! They were kind of a pain for me to cut but easy enough to install. It would've also been nice if they explained what the accessories were - some kind of clamps, clips, and velcro. I have only been using the clips. Careful with your measuring so that you don't allow too much space on the sides of the windows. Cut SLIGHTLY LESS than the exact right measurement and you're golden. If you match the window measurement precisely, moving the shades up and down may give you some resistance. I can sleep in even when the sun comes up, well kind of I still have to walk my dog, but more importantly play video games NO MATTER THE TIME OF DAY! These are highly recommended. Hopefully, when the time comes for us to move out of this apartment, their removal goes as smoothly. ... show more

Looks good. I bought these to replace some similar paper shades I was using. One of the paper shades no longer stayed up. After 11.5 years ,the adhesive no longer work. Hopefully these last a long time too. One thing I noticed is that these allow more light to pass through than the paper ones I was using. They still look great. My only complaint is that they are a little hard to cut down to size. Also some instructions would have been nice too. For example, I did not find the clips right away since these shades arrive in a very long box. The clips were loose and in the bottom of the box. At first, I assumed they did not come with clips. If I had instructions, I'd know to look for them sooner. ... show more

I love the shades. I purchased 2 for home office and one for my bath room. I needed something to block the afternoon sun intensity and that something had to be easy to install myself. Although light still comes through the shades (and I expected it to), the sun glare is significantly diminished.
