These are not 16.5 inches. I specifically ordered these ones after getting others that were stated as 15.7 inches but don’t cover a half sheet pan. Well these are exactly the same size as the other ones I had order and upon nearing they are not even 16 inches long. I’m ok losing some useable space on my half sheet pans but not this much and the listed size is incorrect. The outside measurement of these aren’t even 16 inches. Returning. ... show more

    • Professional-Level Crusts Without the Guesswork
I’ve been a loyal parchment paper user for years, but I finally decided to try this Ferrochef 3-Pack Perforated Silicone Baking Mat set to reduce my kitchen waste. The first thing I noticed is the quality of the mesh; it's thin enough to let air circulate but feels very durable. Having the two half-sheets and the one quarter-sheet is a great bonus, as the smaller one is perfect for my toaster oven or a quick batch of roasted nuts. The perforated design is the real star here. I used them for a batch of sourdough rolls and the bottoms came out perfectly crisp and golden—something I could never quite achieve with standard solid silicone mats. Because of the airflow, the "soggy bottom" issue is completely gone. I also tried them for sugar cookies, and they gave the base a really beautiful, professional-looking textured pattern that my family loved. One thing to keep in mind is that because of the holes, grease or butter can seep through to your pan, so you’ll still need to give your baking sheet a quick wipe afterward. Also, I wouldn't recommend using these for very runny batters or macarons, as they might leak through the mesh. They are dishwasher safe, but I find a quick rinse in hot soapy water is usually enough to get them clean.
