It's a quilted mattress topper. It seems to be of good quality. It has very deep pockets. Seems to stay in place well. So that is what I am rating it on. Not the "miraculous" nonsensical reviews that state it changed people's lives with its comfort simply by adding it to a very firm mattress. It doesn't do that. It softens the top a bit, for sure, but it doesn't change the physics with your current mattress. Had I trusted the reviews here, i'd have been disappointed and annoyed. Amazon reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. A lot of products/companies, give away items or major discounts to bribe their customers into leaving fantastic reviews. I can't say for certain that MASVIS is one of those companies, but some of these reviews certainly scream "If it sounds to good to be true..." MAYBE, at best, if on a scale of 1 to 10, your bed is a 5, this could potentially lift it to 5.5. And I think that is stretching it a bit. The padding is fine. I presume it is waterproof or resisitant. I don't have any intention on testing that. Time will tell if the stitching is durable or not. No noticeable dangling threads out of the package, so that is encouraging. Heat retention. Reviews said it made it much cooler to sleep. If anything it felt a bit warmer to me., but I'm on a cheap inner spring mattress, not some plush, pillow top or memory foam mattress. Nothing to complain about, but, again, nothing miraculous here for sure. I will say it felt slightly more comfortable to fall asleep, but the next morning I was as sore as I ever was due to this super firm mattress. (The townhouse came furnished, no choice). So I rated this for what it is. A Mattress Topper. I didn't deduct anything for hype by possibly paid reviews. But I didn't give it 5 stars because it isn't exceptional. It doesn't stand out from anything else. I'd actually rate it 3.5 stars. Because it's just pretty basic. Maybe if it were for my toddler then I'd give it points for mattress protection, if applicable. Fortunately I ordered what is truly needed to make the bed more comfortable...a mattress PAD. This topper was delivered first, so I had the opportunity to try it without the pad and review it. The pad supposedly will arrive today. Hopefully between the two, it works out well.

I’m actually overly satisfied. Long story short, we ordered a new mattress in May that was supposed to deliver in June... then it was July... then it was August... and then we canceled our order because we found somewhere that can deliver much sooner with a real delivery date, not just a “maybe.” But in the meantime, I couldn’t take the pain anymore. The. Worst. Back. Pains. And to top it off, I’ve also been waking up with horrible rib pain (from front to back). The rib pain was so bad in the mornings that it was hard to take a deep breath. I ordered this topper praying it would buy me just an ounce of relief until we get a new mattress. I woke up after the first night sleeping on it with no back pain and no rib pain. We will still get a new mattress because ours obviously bit the dust... but I’ll be keeping the mattress topper. So, yes. The answer is yes, you do need it.

This is a well made product. I have purchased more mattress pads then I care to admit over the last few years. I always purchase the deep pocket, as I have a memory foam pad on top of a tall mattress. Every brand I tried prior to this one said it would fit, and most did. However, they were always made with cheap fabric that either Tore, or shrunk in the wash. I tried this one, without high hopes, and was pleasantly surprised. The actual padding on the top is thick and comfortable, as well as breathable, and the sides are made out of nice material that actually fits easily around my tall mattress and topper. This is the only kind of mattress pad I will be purchasing from here on out.

I searched the internet for weeks for a nice mattress topper and I was so close to spending almost $200 for a brand name memory foam one. I’m so glad I didn't because this thing is so awesome. If you want to enhance the comfort of your bed without spending a ton, this is perfect!

not the best, but it works. kind of upset i purchased this with higher hopes that it would make laying down easier, but it doesn't.. i found myself buying 2/3 more to add on top of each other to try to make it better and still did nothing..

We bought a Lucid a few months ago. Loved the new mattress but I was sleeping hot. I normally run warm so I was not sure if it was me or mattress. My hubby who loves his electric blanket sleeps while I have a cracked window was also sleeping hot. Ok. Time to search for some help and in found this reasonably priced cover. Love it! Fits the new mattress perfectly. I still have moments of I am too hot, can we say hot flashes? Hubby is not kicking off covers and I am back to sleeping through the night. Perfect addition to the sleeping experience. It does what advertised, cools our mattress and we are happy! I will say its not meant to add additional plush to mattress. Not really. Being our mattress was new not a detriment. However if you are looking for a mattress pad that will add plush I would try something more expensive. If you are looking for a cooler sleep at an affordable price this is it!

Very happy with this mattress cover! Compared a lot of different product reviews and decided on this one. I let it poof up a day or 2 before putting it on. Arrived completely clean, no smell, stains, mold, bugs etc. As some other people noted? Fits great and very soft. Takes the edge off my fairly firm mattress. Would definitely reccomend!!
