    • For the birkenstock lover who wants a distinguished look (or who has ugly toes)
I got mine about 2015, so 8 years ago. I've had a lot of pairs of shoes come and go, get worn out and tossed, but not these. Year after year, every time I move I can't part with these. They're well broken-in, so soft and smooth on the inside, and surprisingly not even creased. I've been rough on these. I've worked all kinds of jobs in them, cooked food, cleaned cars, truged through snowy and icy walkways, you name it. But they clean up nice and the leather gets this nice patina over time. I've never had any part of these break or fall apart. What's cool about the bostons particularly is that they look good with or without socks. Other birkenstocks can look a bit wack with socks, but in the fall when it gets too cold for sandals, these pair nicely with a thick wool sock and look classy too. I can dress them up or down. People compliment these the most out of all my shoes, which can be frustrating because I make an effort to curate some really "cool" kicks. The only think that makes it hard to review these is that it takes several years to really be able to speak to the quality of the shoes, and by that time the production quality could be totally different so YMMV on a fresh 2023 pair. Overall, these are great but my only complaint would be that they tend not to clasp onto my feet the way Arizonas do. These are much more slippy on and off. you can adjust the strap a bit for a tighter fit, but in general you're not gonna want to do any running or juking in these. Just a perfect shoe for puttering around, but they're not afraid to do some serious miles of walking for days on end, which makes them great for travelling or the airport. ... show more

Beautiful shoe. Wanted a full shoe but cannot ever get the color brown. These will be my daily shoes following my Birk sandals. Worth every penny
