Of course the smell was strong but better after a few days. It’s so think that I panicked a little at first but slept really well from the first night. I bought at a bad time with it being so hot everywhere because it really retains heat. Even though we have A/C I’m a little too warm each night. It has however helped with not feeling the spring on my hips, as I am a side sleeper primarily, with my old mattress. Regular sheets seem to stay pretty well despite the thickness.

I have arthritis pain all over my body and slept so well first night on this fabulous cloud of comfort! It hugs my body stabilizing my Degenerative spine and feels so good. Just the right firmness, I'm very happy with this product. One warning. I had to sleep on this the first night and the fumes gave me a terrible sore throat for days!! The smell is awful! Turns out I was getting sick so it may not be from the mattress.

I have waited 8 days since purchasing to write this review. I bought this topper for my child’s bed and It was delivered January 4th and today is January 12th. I want to say that this would be an amazing product if it wasn’t quite literally fuming us out! I removed it from its package on the 8th and took it to our spare bedroom/office to let it fluff up for the full 48 hours. I noticed an initial chemical smell but figured it was from the packaging and would dissipate in a couple days. Well, it’s been 8 days and I can’t even go in our office now because of the intense chemical smell it’s emitting. I don’t want this thing in my house anymore and It was a complete waste of money. Amazon says I can return for a refund but I’m not sure how to vacuum seal up a twin size mattress to send back and it’s already been enough of a headache (literally from the fumes) trying to work around it. Im so disappointment because it really is super plush and would be amazing and so comfortable for my kiddo. But I cannot have him breathing in whatever fumes these are.
