Definitely not blackout curtains! They also have a distressed, incomplete kinda faded print on them. Despite all of this I do like them and will probably get an actual blackout liner to go behind them or just use them in a different room.

I have generally not kept up with writing reviews for every little thing I purchase. This seems like a great product - well packaged as "new" - on time, likely not damaged, feel like actual curtains -- not too heavy and not wimpy. That said, I did not (and will not likely) completely remove the curtains from their original packaging. What? I ignored the reviews and comments regarding the color accuracy. Yes, I know... I purchased 2 sets of the 63 inch in color "Griege". I partly pulled the first set (of two purchased) from its plastic bag. Moving from room to room, I examined the curtains under different light conditions, including different lamps, overhead lights, and "natural" light coming through the front and back windows of the house. No matter the type of light, the curtains appear to be a "silver" color. The decorative pattern bits appear white (or off-white). White-ish pattern is fine, expected, and certainly acceptable. It's the silver-ish background (main color) that I cannot reconcile with my not-gray wall color. I have new Gray-Beige Linen curtains in the room where I wanted to hang these curtains -- The existing curtains are a nice color -- I am not satisfied with the flimsy, too-thin, linen-y, rough-ish texture and weight. I thought to replace what I have with curtains that are actually a decent material and weight. Meh. Will keep looking. Thanks for reading. ... show more
