My cats loved this house. It was easy to build and held up well. I didn’t want to get rid of it but I replaced it for a different house that they don’t like to lay in as much. My cats love this for the holiday season, it has an advantage for a hiding place and the scratching board is essentially the best. It is not as sturdy for a large cat if they are active when they are on it. It is a great ornament for cats Christmas decor.

It was easy enough to out together, but it certainly didn't stay together. It took a day for them to collapse it. It was also very small. I have a 7 month old kitten and a 2 year old cat, and the kitten can barely fit inside of it comfortably. Charging $40 for this is wild.

The Pro’s: This thing is super cute. Literally adorable. Super easy to put together - took me maybe 15 minutes. The extra busy box toy was a nice surprise. My cats instantly loved playing in it. The Con’s: Broke within ten minutes of my cats using it. I wouldn’t say my cats are huge, they’re pretty normal sized, so I was really sad that it broke so quickly. The cardboard is just not sturdy enough for bigger cats. Its definitely not worth it for the price. I’d pay maybe $20 at most. So disappointed 😭 ... show more

I got this for two of my cats and they absolutely loved it. My cats are on the bigger side, but they still fit perfectly on the inside and still had a blast. Putting it together was very simple and actually kind of fun. The cats would scratch at this the whole season and it pretty much held together For about two months. The media could not be loaded. Not only do both my cats love the actual gingerbread house - which was very simple to put together - the box it came in also converts into a little kitty wack-a-mole game which they love just as much! It came with two little fuzzy balls they can knock around inside the box, which has holes that easily punch out to create this game. I replaced the fuzzy balls with another of their balls so that it wasn't as easy for them to pull it out (my polydactl would catch the fuzzy one accidentally sometimes with his 6 little needle claws and just yank it out without meaning to) and they are playing with it five times a day - they cannot resist it!
