As a veteran of assembling many entertainment centers, end tables, etc, this was a piece of cake. The instructions are just a few steps, all pictures, and about halfway through you don't even need them anymore. If you have your own tools, use them. I did not feel like going out into the cold to get mine, but the provided wrenches worked well enough. The frame appears flimsy until fully assembled, then seems plenty sturdy enough. It looks like any normal foundation after the cover is slipped over it. I am a 300-lb man, so I will update the review if there are durability issues, but honestly I don't expect any.

I wasn’t sure about a bed frame that needed assembly but it went together with minimal effort..it did take us 30 minutes. This was super affordable because it was delivered for free and we had it next day. It is just as sturdy as the box frame that I have on another bed that came from the furniture store.

This is the best foundation for a mattress, no competition. 20 min to put together and solid as a tank with no squeaks. The cover is high quality and completes the look. I bought two and they look great and work great. No one should be knocking a star off for any reason.
