This food storage system is good but it has some issues and its not very cost effective. The sealing system works perfectly, we mostly use it for fruits and veggies. We dont often use it for meat products but the biggest issue is that, this is a closed system! You can only use this company's product! Which can be very expensive so if you need more plastic or more compact containers, you have to order it from them and their products are expensive! This would have been so much better if you could buy a cheaper sealing plastic and containers. It does work well with keeping the food fresh but each time you open the containers, you have to use more plastic to cover it. It doesnt reseal very well so you have to cut more plastic to wrap. Its annoying and you use products so fast. The system is so expensive, the containers and plastic shouldn't be. Its it nice absolutely but in the long run, its way more expensive than its competing products.

The system is great but there is a bit of a learning curve. But once you get used to it, It becomes easy to cook and freeze food or store food for future use. The value for long time use and reducing waste is great. The cleaning isn’t difficult to do, but you must make sure the areas that are to be sealed are clean and dry to make best contact for sealing. It took a bit for me to figure out how to get the seal to work— but once I did, I made changes in how I used to store food and the sealibility increased tremendously.

No vacuum seal. No easy way to replace trays and sealing materials. As far as a food prep station I’d say it’s severely lacking in ease of use and versatility. Upon first use I had to repeatedly press the power button to get it to work properly =not good for a brand new just out of the box machine. I can’t imagine what it will be like in a year. All it does is seal the tops of the provided containers, which are specifically designed for just this product and extremely expensive to replace as they are only available by the manufacturer. I tried to use this on a large batch of spaghetti sauce & meatballs I made and was disappointed to see that there was no vacuum seal available. It did seal all the way around the container; But the seal itself was barely thicker than a pencil line. I wouldn’t trust it for long-term storage. It does not say in any of the materials or online that it is good for use in the freezer. Also, it is not a banjo tight seal across the container top either so I think stacking would be a problem if you did freeze them. The lack of adaptability is a no go for the price IMO. It has an extremely large footprint so it’s going to take up half of a cabinet if you store it in your kitchen. It is very lightweight but offers no on board storage for anything but one roll of the film so you would not only need to store the unit but the trays and extra rolls separately. I don’t think this was very well thought out. It’s a nice idea, but that’s all- -it does not function Well enough to warrant the expense. A regular vacuum sealer does three times as much for a quarter of the price..

I was a little nervous about trying this out at first after reading the reviews but for my needs this more than takes care of everything. All the trees are pretty well made and my husband was able to figure out how to get the sealer under control to tightly seal everything in and make everything great for meal prepping. I feel like it could be a little more heavy duty and that the sealer could be a little easier to figure out but my husband was able to get it easily after I had struggled with it for a while so I think it just depends on how good you are at figuring out stuff like that LOL my husband is excellent at it so he said it was pretty simple and straightforward and did not have a hard time doing it. After all that part is figured out it's pretty easy to use and nice to seal up the container. It functions as intended and I have not had a single issue. The suction power on it is good and everything can get nice and tightly sealed. I'm able to put the food in there that I want and keep it in the freezer until I'm ready to eat it. Super handy to have as long as you're not needing it for like large amounts of food and large quantities of everything. Also if you are not really handy or your partner is not really handy you may struggle figuring out how to use the sealer at first. After some time though I'm sure you could figure it out! The quality of everything is really good for the price point and I'm really happy with it! Still a solid 8 out of 10 in my opinion and worth every penny.
