    • Too soft in warmer weather.
Too soft in warm weather. Turns to butter even at these 85 degree temperatures now here in Texas. Won’t hold without metal screw clamps even on the recommended barbed fittings. Plastic clamps are not tight enough. My system is on low house pressure.

Remember to submerge the ends in hot water, or you'll have a heck of a time getting this on a connector.

I bought this to add onto a misting system line I have had up for at least 3 years. This tubing is so pliable that the water pressure kept popping the tube off the barbed ends of the emitters. I started using hose clamps to keep them on. Then, less than two weeks after install, it ruptured.
