I bought this to replace the dead battery on my Transcend Drivepro DP-100. It was a perfect replacement for the OEM battery that came with the dashcam and connected easily. Dismantling of the dashcam was not difficult but there were seven or eight EXTREMELY tiny screws involved, so you'll need a jeweler's screwdriver set. After re-assembly and applying power, the Drivepro works perfectly and the new battery now allows my dashcam's memory to retain the date/time for recordings, which is essential if you ever need a video clip to support your case after a traffic collision. ... show more

    • Problems in my application
I installed this battery in a media player. It replaced a battery of the same voltage but the old one had a lower capacity. The battery works, but the charge-status percentage is always off. It shows unexpected numbers both while charging. There was a time when it failed to charge at all. I think the unit needs to be completely off while charging. I'm not sure what caused that failed charge. It generally works, even with the wrong displayed percentage. But I need to work out why it failed to charge that one time. ... show more
