I had to order a new remote control for my Alphard V2 and it died after 9 holes of golf. The company sent me a new one but didn't want the defective one back. I took it apart and measured the battery voltage at 0.85 volts. I ordered this one to replace it. The battery was soldered onto the circuit board, so I cut the connector off and soldered it to the board. Works like a charm. Other reviewers have given it bad reviews because they didn't bother to check the polarity of the connector. If you don't understand DC electricity, don't attempt your own repairs!

i got two of these, one each for two halves of a split keyboard. they fit perfectly, and work great. like other reviewers, the batteries i got were in the wrong polarity for my equipment. while it was easy to switch the wires around, it could have been disastrous if i wasn't being careful. please double check the polarity before you plug these in. also, the wires were kind of short, but i was able to work around it, no big deal.

I bought two of these batteries to use with Adafruit Powerboost 500 to use with some ESP8266 projects. I made an assumption that the wiring of the connector was NORMAL. IT WASN'T. I got a shock plugging the battery in and then I immediately smelled that old, tell tale, electrical burning smell. I quickly unplugged the battery and looked at it closely. As you can see in the picture, the one on the left is the ORIGINAL configuration of the connector. On every other LiPo battery I've ever bought... the RED wire (+power) is on the LEFT. The battery on the right is the second battery I received and which I had swapped the wires in the connector. Not sure WHY/WHAT these wires were reversed from a normal configuration but this is VERY DANGEROUS as it could have caused the battery to overheat and explode. Anyone thinking about buying these batteries to use in a project expecting NORMAL wiring on the connector.... DON'T BUY THESE. If I could have given a negative rating I would.

I had one of those muscle stimulators, a TENS device I guess, and it would not hold a charge. If directly powered, it would work. I decided to replace the battery, since I wouldn't want to get electrocuted if the failsafes malfunctioned. I cut the plug on the new battery and soldered the new battery wires to the board. Now it works, and I fixed something, good stuff.

The battery seems to work fine so far, but the other reviews here are absolutely right. The JST connector is wired backward. It's not too hard to swap the leads, but you absolutely need to check yours before using it.
