This was ordered as a replacement for the Free Spirit Dog Collar remote Mod# FS-TRN. Since this battery came with a connector and mine was soldered to the board, the connector had to be removed. It was easy enough to solder the wires directly using a medium heat soldering iron. Once installed I charged it up. Seems to be holding a charge for many weeks now. I have a very small mini dash cam.Battery went out in it after 4 years use.Time and date will not stay up with a dead battery that won't take a charge.So I got this battery for a replacement.It looked doable on Y/T but wow.You have to be a skilled surgeon to change batteries in that little cam.I killed the patient.So,long story short,I think the battery was fine.Just advise using a skilled repair guy to replace in mini cams.I recommend. ... show more

    • Fixed my RING doorbell Pro with this battery.

I used this battery to fix my Ring doorbell Pro. Believe it or not, the Ring Pro has a battery, It puffs up when the weather outside tries to melt your face off. The only difference between the factory ring battery and this one is the mother board/chip thats soldered on to the battery. I removed the board from the amazon battery by using a pair of wire cutters, made the cuts on the thin metal battery posts. I then removed the one off of my ring battery and soldered it to the amazon battery, kinda challenging because Im not an expert at soldering. A couple minutes of reassembly later and PRESTO !!! My Ring Doorbell Pro is fully functional. Definitely worth the time. If your Ring doorbell pro is not working there’s a good chance the battery called it quits. This amazon one is a great replacement. I highly recommend it. ... show more

Battery itself seems ok, but I haven’t cycled it many times yet. One thing to be aware of is the wiring is REVERSED from every other battery out there. If you plug it in to your device using the JST connector supplied , there is a good chance you will destroy whatever you plug it in to. If you cut off the connector the red and black are correct, so you can rewire it ok. I bought four of these and everyone had reverse wiring. ... show more

Two years on and my Lorex doorbell starts going off-line more and more. It's past warranty and no joy with repeatedly resetting. I followed Jay's detailed instructions on ifixit: I moved/resoldered the three wire circuit board. The oem battery voltage was dead. Initially it didn't get into Hotspot wifi. Turns out one of the wires of the antenna (taped to the battery) was broken. Resoldered that too and great to see the device Hotspot wifi pop up. Back online! ... show more

Worked perfectly for my Ring Doorbell Pro! You'll have to snip the circuit board off that comes with it and solder the tabs of the battery to the circuit board from the Ring - but once you do that you're good to go! Don't heat things up with the soldering iron too much tho! Just make sure you use the micro USB port on the side of the ring to charge it up! ... show more
