It was a slow and loud but adequate little motor for the 4ish hours of use I got out of it before the handle snapped off leading to a miserable limp back to camp trying to guide a hot motor by the nub and keep the kill button from being pushed too often on the dangling handle. It addition to that the whole of its materials doesn't inspire much confidence that something isn't going to break soon. Going a little up the cost ladder would probably be preferable to going this cheap. ... show more

    • Great little outboard
2HP four stroke air cooled outboard at a great price. No mixing oil. Runs well and decent sized fuel tank for our small boat. Throttle on tiller arm works well. It has a centrifugal clutch so when it idles down, the prop stops while the motor idles. This feature wasn’t even advertised but super helpful. Build is decent at this price point and we hope to get many years of use. Recommended. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money or time
These engines are horrible! Extremly slow, wouldn't even push my inflatable boat with just me in it. extremely tall for a short shaft, grip handle pops off , no way to manually trim it.
